@elizabethserrano6353 Nice! I'm thinking we need to find some more places to go. Seems like me mostly only find shipping supplies lately. Not that it's a bad thing. Lol.
@jennb1903 Awesome! Glad you liked it. We just added a couple more fixtures to the new booth yesterday. We appreciate you stopping by the booths and watching our videos!
Hiya! Fellow Okie here🤟 y'all! I do have a question where is your booth? Our family would love to come and support y'all.Keep up the great videos .hey at the end,y'all were diving in my town!I know those dumpsters😃
@@JoyfulAbyss That's awesome. You aren't the 1st person to recognize where we were. 😂 Our booth is at The Antique Co-op 1227 N. May Ave Oklahoma City, OK 73107. It's an amazing place. It's easy to spend over an hour looking and sometimes getting lost. Lol!
Hey ya'll, my husband and I started watching your vids few weeks back and enjoy watching ya'll. We are from the same area cause my hubby said "Hey, thats part of my DD route also." 😂 Hes originally from up around that dog food plant also lol im from the opposite end (south) but we live in the middle near Bethany. Hes a big guy, ya probably seen him out at the flea mrkt but he got fed up with the attempts at low balling so hasn't been in a while. He said if ya need help getting the shelves if their still there let us know. ❤ ~starla y. (The Mrs.)
@devinyandell5289 Oh how cool! If you see us out and about, be sure to come say hi! I get the lowballing being annoying. We've pretty much switched to only taking things we're planning to donate if they don't sell. That way it doesn't feel like people are trying to take advantage. I think we're gonna leave the shelves. We really don't have room for them right now. Tha k you so much for watching and commenting!
@meadowlarks4me472 Lol! I was too. That dumpster was super sketchy, but seemed pretty solid. I was just telling Zina I'd love to get some grid wall for the booth, so I wasn't passing it up.
You didn't expect diving to turn into Tushy Time LOLOL What days of the week do you typically dive and what time of day? Going alone, how is that? Climbing into and all over industrial dumpsters is way too scary!!!
@BooksEtcRehomed We just kind of figured out when trash pickup is at our favorite location by trial and error. You're less likely to have issues with employees running you off if they're closed, but in Oklahoma it's perfectly legal unless there is a no trespassing sign. After dark feels like more of an adventure, but it's also more dangerous. You never know if someone is in the shadows.
I wanna say something else too, for give me I have ADHD and comment while watching so I don’t lose my train of thought. One, I’ve been trying to figure out what else a box springs could be used for. Wonder if we can make book shelves outta them or something (remove all the fabric ofcourse) also as someone who has owned a cleaning business cleaning mostly beach houses and condos. We did residential & like dr offices and such also. Anyways, bed bugs are not as common as the media wants you to think. I really just think it’s something put out there to make us buy more stuff. So out of the entire 22yrs of me having that business I only had two reports of the bed bugs & only one was an actual infestation. The people themselves were the carriers, because the beach house didn’t have that problem before they arrived & stayed for a month. So ease ya mind on those critters. Also isn’t it funny how we get so excited about packing materials lol 😆
@glitterwitch718 I'm the exact same with the adhd. I haven't been formally diagnosed because I've never brought it up at a Dr's appointment, but I have all the classic behaviors. Zina laughs at my squirrel brain all the time. She's always like hold on, finish your other sentence first. Lol. Good to know about bed bugs! I always worry that the clothing we find I. Dumpsters is there due to bed bugs.
How dare they make such a mess in the dumpster lmao 🤣 I so wished we lived closer together. We would have such fun together lol I love dumpster diving but the area I’m in they aren’t so easily to get into anymore & cops patrol them like it’s the actual store. I had a veteran come to one of my yardsales once and he had an amputated leg which I assumed happened in Vietnam, but I overheard him telling another vet that he lost it due to dumpster diving. He jumped into one and glass or something nearly sliced his lower leg off. So always use caution for sure. When I was a kid we our family would make trips to the local landfill & find all kinds of cool stuff. We use to also hit the donation bins. lol this was back in the 80’s y’all & I was a kid. lol I just HATE useable stuff being in those landfills. This world is too wasteful for sure. 🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤
@glitterwitch718 That's crazy! I was doing my best to check my footing in that huge dumpster. I was scared I'd find a gap and my leg would fall through. It was kinda fun though. Dumpster diving with friends is pretty fun. We had a blast with Alicia and Donna in Nebraska.
@@resell2rideyall ever come to Gulf Shores, Alabama give me a shout. Stay safe out there for sure. That big dumpster with the metal shelves would have definitely given me a workout cause I’d taken the shelves and mats also. I have mad determination lmao 🤣 Stay safe for sure. And just a tip, I keep a pair of Jeans, long work boots that go up my legs & workers gloves that mechanics use & I slip those on for added protection. For sure stay safe. Climbing is why I’m disabled now 🫤.
Correction….falling is why I’m now disabled, not climbing. I’ve climbed on stuff literally since I could crawl ask my mom & the one & only time I fall I just happen to land on concrete. 🫤 And let me just add I only fell because the item I’d grabbed broke away from the main structure. I was climbing up into a loft.
The amount of tiny shards in the bag would have been an issue. If they were bigger pieces then I would have considered it. At least I got to enjoy the smell while I was digging. Lol!
The whole video was great, even the cardboard/bubble wrap, but especially the climbing around on top of the dumpster...well done.
@@vonny10096 Thanks! I'm trying to teach my brain that either people like it or don't. Just make the video and post it. Lol.
I haven’t in awhile but when I did I got some notebooks, pencils, pens and brand new comforter. A lot of recyclables. Great video!!😊

Great video! I like the dumpster diving videos. I’ve never done it myself, but enjoy watching yours.
@BiGGsCollectibles Yay! Glad you enjoy them. We love hunting for stuff and it's a nice bonus that it's free aside from the gas we use.
Be careful with those dumpsters. We want you guys safe and sound so we can see more of your videos.
Well that is very sweet of you. Thanks!
went to your store today.. great stuff :)
