N.B: Open the odin in administrator mode(important) with uncheck reboot option. After completing the pass wait for 3 or 4 minutes. Then disconnect from pc and remove the battery.

wow, after like 5 posts all with different steps, some missing steps completely this video and/or files actually got me to the swipe screen so i could actually root the damn thing.

when i start i dont get that recovery screen, its a different one with no install thing. its just reboot system, apply updates, and ssstuff like that.
open the ODIN in ADMINISTRATOR mode. Then Reflash again

I did installed and then I am returned again to marshmallow..because naugat is too slow for this device.. it can't optimize.. ami battery backup is awfull in nougat.. i recommend you not upgrade your mobile. But if you just want to experience it then go for it.. you will get many features like split screen and many more

salmaan malik it's not an error. Just click back... and if you have to go teamwin recovery mode... you have to flash twrp recovery image using odin software

Hello Ratan Dewanji, Did you start the odin in administrator mode? If not make sure it first. Give details about boot up. Is your device is in bootloop or just soft brick with white screen?

When I go to recovery mode it goes to the regular recovery mode and doesn't let me do anything
+sowhazupguy that means you haven't properly flash the twrp recovery via odin. Odin must be in administrator mode. Otherwise recovery img can't be properly install.

i am unable to twrp recovery mode in my device
well while in download mode the box over there get stuck in "reset" it does not changes to "pass" automatically so i remove the battery while i the device is still on as it connected to pc by usb cord so i unplugged it then it switches off after i restarted it manually and connected to my pc then it shows pass .i think that part i doing wrong please explain what should i be doing ...

Gurdev Singh . I faced the same problem, what u need to do is after flashing twrp file do not turn on the phone directly , remove battery , directly boot into recovery(hold the three keys.).
Note😑😑 place the super su file in ur storage , before flashing twrp, and after flashing twrp, remove the battery , open recovery mode. Believe me it works😎😎😎😎

+Archit create a backup before root. No need to worry as there is stock ROM of the device already available.

@@imarchit In TWRP, there is backup and press it and swipe to back up. Use the restore button in case something goes wrong.

Tap the "Build number" section seven times.

SUKANTA MONDAL actually you can't update it through OTA update.. But if you want to do so you have to download updated firmware and you have to flash through odin manually. But you have to install twrp first for that.
