Very nice camp,best way to make few days hunts!Got a good buddy with a fine duck camp,de Quack Shack,in Lake Village,AR and his season and mine,here in LA been horrendous.He is so upset he may put up de Quack Shack for sale and what is neat bout de Shack is that the owner has tons od fine mounts,all killed by him except a fine drake blue wing I killed few seasons ago in our local marsh and I took him to Kevin Hymes in Pearl River for his world-class taxidermy!!My starter went out on my SouthFork and because this original starter has lasted about 25 years,I plunked down some decent coin for the factory starter and it was supposed to arrive today but luckily showed up yesterday!!Me and one of my duck Mafia decided to make paddle-in hunt yesterday and after the hunt,I went to Academy in Slidell to buy spare tire for my small boat trailer that I use to transport pirogues,canoe,etc.Got spare tire and rim and when I got to my vehicle,noticed left rear tire was about down to de rim!!Made executive decision to make the short haul to Sam's just the other side of Interstate and they hooked me up and charged me exactly ZERO and I gave the tire technician $20 and he about made me stick dat 20 spot in his pocket.Got home and grandson woke me up from short nap telling me he had heavy package that just arrived and it was my starter.Installed dat baby but got NADA when i hit key and at first was baffled but quickly diagnosed the issue-shift lever needed to ne in Neutral and once I moved lever into Neutral new starter spun dat 50 Johnson like a top and she ready to roll!!Take full advantage of what ya got!!Awesome hunts yall making and fine videos!!Taking grandson to Texas Bowl and gonna chase ducks next Th!

I continue to love your content. I’m a hunter and wanna be duck hunter who lives in the mountains on the east coast so I don’t see too much waterfowl; I sort of live thru you and your waterfowling. So merry Christmas and thanks for sharing.
I'm glad some birds are starting to come down in cuz we ant had no duck in Louisiana I hunt on Toledo bend and caddo I've been all over the place ant no duck but I'm glad they down here
man we were hunting last weekend in Southeast LA after it opened back up . We hardly saw any Gadwall and teal but smashed the divers in the open water . When did yall shoot this video ?
This is a lease. Some marshes have more consistency than others but what matters is food source or proximity to food, and managing pressure. This marsh has some food but it’s in close proximity to a great food source. Salt water intrusion is the biggest problem that any marsh faces. If you can find marsh that doesn’t get hunted often, has good food, and doesn’t get hit by salt water intrusion, you’ll have success.
