Thin or fine hair doesnt always mean damaged hair. My hair used to be very thick but as ive gotten older by hair is on the finner side, long and healthy. Some people just want alittle volume and length with out taking away from their natural density. The point it to make it look natural to what she has started with in this case. I think it looks natural, managable and i like it. Great job!!❤

This is the method I used too. I thought the two pieces, both with hair was too thick so I only used one side of hair with tape. Great job 💜

I love your videos on tape ins ! If you happen to do another client for tape ins can you really focus in on face framing ? That’s the only part I get lost on is how to make around the face full so the leave out blends with the extensions. I’m not sure if I should be doing them on a diagonal parting or what.
I watch Studio Techlo based in Atlanta and she does tape ins too. She seems to place side tape ins at diagonal like you were saying.

Very pretty. The title says you use 40 pieces of hair so did you have 80 single pieces of hair and when you sandwich the hair it was 40 pieces to complete the install? I’m confused 🤔

It depends on the density of your hair.
40 single pieces of hair is not the right term to use in this case but it looks beautiful

Does the flat iron help with the longevity of the tape ins? I see some people use heat and some don't... just wondering what the difference is. Beautiful job!
I think it depends on the company and what adhesive is used. I know companies I've researched say don't apply heat to the tape.
You shouldn’t flatiron on the actual tape part it would make removal very difficult.
You use heat and it'll be really glued to your hair..use a cool flat iron

My hair is short and thin. Getting sew-in and braids made my edges balding, but I was wondering if I could still get tap-in extension???
I would recommend consulting with a stylist. It sounds you may want to start a hair growth journey first to get your hair in a better state

I recommend a consultation with a stylist. Since this is not a protective style, it’s important to know the do’s and don’ts, and if your hair is a good candidate

I do not. However, they can be washed.
I don't like the way it was curled.

Sweetheart you do good, however, your not detailed I wasn't able to see some of the things you were doing cause your body was in front of the camera & you NEVER showed her front facing until you was finished I'm somewhat lost & it's always good to speak what your doing..
When u want it out dont u damage your hair
No, there is a solution that you spray down the tape ins with. It could be difficult to do on yourself so I recommend a stylist or someone else to do them.

Not everyone has thick hair… so the amount of hair she used is perfect.
Not everyone wants 180 volume when their natural is probably 102.

@@Jupiter_12Untrue, a lot of white women and other women of color with really long hair uses a lot of packs for volume and not length.
This is the last thing her thin hair needs! It’s broken off in areas 🤦🏽♀️ I just don’t agree with this being done to her hair. It looked very pretty when finished and you did a great job clipping those ends, but this to me will just be unnecessary strain on already thin hair

i’ve been interested in getting tape ins for a while now, but i have a hard time finding the right color for my hair. i either go to dark or it’s too light. and the hair store always makes me buy the black bundles and always tried to convince me that it matches mine because of how dark it is; then i get it done and it’s just a tad too dark. which color options would i need? it’s not quite black. but more of a mix with light and dark brown a dash of ginger highlights (natural born with) and like just a tiny bit of black
I tend to go a shade lighter as it doesn't get as noticeable as a shade darker... Lighter hair on the lengths seems more natural in my opinion, or you could get 2 different color extensions and mix them together in the "sandwich" (1 dark + 1 light)
