Maurice Gibb is An awesome musician. They kept up with the times and never lost their fan base. Not only that they got more fans as the years went by. They sing beautifully together.
I basically love most everything about Maurice Gubb...he is humble, intelligent, respectful, genuine and extremely talented...just a totally wonderfully nice human being...and oh how I so much love his speaking voice..a very masculine tone...he has a relaxed and naturalness about him...no unnecessary airs like some others think they need to get themselves noticed...miss him tremendously 😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
I loved just getting to hear Maurice talking with an interviewer! I've seen lots of comments on lots of videos of people saying they love his voice and that they love hearing him talk. I agreed, but this video made me love it more than ever before. I didn't even mind that I couldn't see him during the interview; I think that actually helped me to focus more on his voice so that I could really appreciate it. I also agree with the people who said that he should've done something like a podcast or an audiobook reader where we could just hear him talk a lot.
Love all 3 Bee Gees but there is just something really special, sweet, the humor, great voice, etc about Maurice. Love their smiles, Barrys Laugh. They are smart, kind, watching them sing is pure joy.
The measure of a man is his family. Mo & Robin have left a wonderful legacy with Samantha, Adam, Spencer, RJ & Melissa. The next generation of Gibbs are forging ahead with music that shows what a blessing their fathers influence was.
Mo had a beautiful voice. His speaking voice is deep and is free of an accent most of the time because there are instances where the accent and the speed of B and Rs speech get in the way in that I find myself rewinding to figure out what was said. "Next year" never came. I'm glad I saw them. To the new fans "Welcome" I love it!!!
So nice to listen to Maurice voice . He gave a wonderful and thoughtful humble interview. I love hearing his voice and how much he loved his family. XSo sad that he left so early and tradgically. Love him and his brothers Thank you Mo. Good interviewer as well. 😍
We lost so much, when we lost Mo. He speaks with such a wonderful voice and explains everything so well. All the songs mentioned are my favorite. I actually love all there songs. Rest In Peace Mo. You are truly loved and missed. ❤️🌹❤️
Love Maurice, miss him, his voice is beautiful & sexy he always has the answers to the questions asked. Love this interview with him alone .. most of the time it's Barry that speaking more than his brothers RIP Andy, Maurice & Andy
Such a beautifully articulate man. Nice to hear him flow on his own, without any interruptions. Just perfect having this memory of such a lovely person.
There isn't much I can say about Mo that hasn't been said before so I will just reiterate... Maurice Gibb was a very talented, articulate, handsome man whom we lost much too soon. Sadly, the world is much the worse because of his loss. I loved Robin and Andy, too...and Lord willing, Barry will be with us for many more years...but, Mo? He was very, very special and some people, to their loss, realized this too late. God love and keep you in His hands, Maurice Ernest Gibb. The likes of you will not be seen again, anytime soon...if at all!
I love all the Bee Gees, but Maurice is certainly my favourite, his warm, gentle and intelligent demeanour is irresistible, plus his look is so stylish and refined, always reminds me of a professor :-)
Sorry, construction of sentences and punctuation was applied poorly. Too much champagne,😉 I would venture to guess. Still ,the sentiment was sincerely conveyed.💜🤗
Thank you, Maurice, for being loyal to your fans and in your sincere words...I'm grateful to have been part of this phenomenal era of music. You, Robin, and Barry, were the best of the best, then, now and forever.....
OMG I feel so robbed of a phenomenon called Brothers Gibb ... it is such a loss each of these guys left huge holes in our hearts and psyches ,,, I had no idea of the depth and profundity of this wonderful being until this year. I was never a music or concert groupie but i have become one for Maurice, Robin, Andy and Barry. It makes the idea of leaving this earth a bit more tolerable to think I will be able to go to their concerts on the other side, they are a gift from God to help humans trust and believe in human decency. Boy do we need them now more than ever to uplift our heavy hearts and nurture and brighten our hungry musical souls. They just don't come any better!
I love how even though the BeeGees lived in America for decades they still maintained their British accent. Maurice has always sounded the same just like his brothers and his mother for that matter. Maurice also mentioned still being sober, never denying that he was once an alcoholic . Beautiful interview, beautiful BeeGees. May 2024
Wow, Maurice has an amazing radio voice, so soothing. I so enjoy these kinds of interviews. I love learning about how songs came about. I’m also continually amazed at their extreme humility. They are so respectful of their fans. Thanks for posting!
He just seemed to be so humble about all they talked about - mostly about the fame they had. And, it seemed they were all that way, too. That's one thing I always admired about those guys as it seemed they NEVER took anything for granted. How i wish I could have seen them perform in person, and, that I could've met each one at some point in time. LOVE THEM, BUNCHES !!! As I always say: BEE GEES FOREVER 💯% !!! 😍❣️😻🙏
Really like his voice so beautiful and the interview was so genuine. Can feel that Mo was very sincere human being. Miss him very much very talented and played many musical instruments. Gifted man!
What a treasure we had in Maurice. He was special in more ways than words can describe. Funny, thoughtful, intelligent and sweet and so cute in all his cool hats!
I love the song "The Bridge" being able to hear Maurice and his children sing together. It is beautiful and I play it often. Thank you God for giving us the Bee Gees and Andy.
Dear mrs.Maurice Gibb! Thank you for your husband. I love all Bee Gees, but Maurice is my favourite. His personality is so incredible: so much love, honesty, fun, versatile talent in any area of music. His ability to harmonize made all songs a pure treasure, peace of art. His voice- very distinctive: deep and very masculine and gentle the same time-made thrilled all his fans. It is a real pleasure to live in time of Bee Gees, thank God we can enjoy their music! It makes our world a better place. Thanks again.
Yes, Maurice’s voice is amazing. One of the most beautiful song is Wildflower. Maurice sings the lead and tge songvus one of my favorite Bee Gee song. After hearing Mo sing the lead, no one can do it better.Maurice is my favorite Bee Gee. I feel a definite connection with Mo. Just because the twins are no longer on our earth, they are still with us. Love, music and our spirits never die. They are making music in heaven with the Angels. They are still alive in our hearts and souls with their beautiful music. That keeps them alive for all of us. They love their fans. They will always be with us.
Baritone in speaking, but he was the soprano of the group, but really, he simply was the man in the middle because he would hear where his voice needed to fit and when he put it there, the power was his! I will always appreciate his character, funniness, peacekeeper, and readiness to bring joy with his voice and his funny antics on the stage. Moe, you are still the man!
I still wish Maurice and Robin would have both lived longer. And This interview take place less then two years before Maurice died so tragic and way too soon.
Thank you for posting this interview. Mo was such an articulate, well spoken man. His kindness and warmth always came through when he spoke. Thank you livingeyes for helping to keep his memory alive.
