The Democratic party leadership has been refusing to see major shifts in the US. But one reason they are so out of touch is they are ignoring rural and small town voters, and those in cities with populations of less than 400,000 people. Which is the overwhelming majority of cities in the US. Only 48 cities have populations over 400,000. Only 10 cities have populations over 1 million. People living in Los Angeles who talk about the poor economy and prospects for jobs are blissfully unaware of just how bad it is in areas where there was only ever one large employer and that employer closed down or moved away. And I'm not talking about major auto companies, I'm talking about a company that made t-shirts, or children's clothing, or tin cans. A friend of mine lives in a Southern state in a small city, and there are no waitress jobs for women. Men have taken all the jobs waiting tables in order to feed their families. About the only job for women in those areas is to be a stripper. And this is not glamorous hundreds of dollars a night stripping, this is low budget, $10, $20 a night stripping. These people do not identify with people talking about a lot of social issues. They have one issue. The economy, as it relates to them today. Not tomorrow not next week not next year not in 10 years, but is it relates to putting food on the table today. The Democratic leadership tends to forget such people even exist. The Republicans don't serve them any better than the Democrats do, but the Republicans do acknowledge their existence, so they believe the Republicans represent them better.
As I said some of those red spots are lowkey _r a c i s t_ I'd know being born and raised there. Steve at the end proved my point. You wouldn't think they were until you find out the truth or they act out. _North and South Jersey are two different worlds._

Same with NY. I thought my state was a lost cause until I found out that most of us are red. The same goes for every blue state.

Well. That’s was unexpected. And we’ll budget friendly
Newsom beat the Republican overwhelmingly because when people looked at Larry Elder they realized Elder is a nut and Newsom was way better.
Come again? Newsome is far crazier and evil than Elder.
