19850329 Remembering the sad demise of Sister Jeannine Deckers, the Singing Nun ("Dominique")

Back in 1978, Casey Kasem shared a story about the financial hardship that had been thrust upon Jeannine Deckers, nicknamed in French as "Sister Smile" and known to the music world as "The Singing Nun". Sadly, in large part because of this one incident, the Singing Nun took her own life seven years later, on this day 37 years ago.
