There is a lot you can do from Hoosier Pass, Silverheels is just one of them. Did this last summer, the use trail to the ridge leading to the summit was more pronounced than I thought it would be. A really good hike with great views.

The drone shots are awesome! We just got a drone but need some practice flying it before we take it to any trails. I love how you point out the rout and the other peaks around you. Great perspective!

Virtual Trail Guides 👍, glad you like the video. Thanks, the drone took me A WHILE to get good at and more so trust at high elevations in the wind, but it flies like a champ. Just be careful about flying in areas that don't permit it, but its a game changer on the different perspectives it can provide.

The Virtual Sherpa thanks for the advice! We were a little intimidated by the permitting and registration but feeling more confident now.

Appreciate your videos as I use them often for my hike preps.
I’m doing winter summit hikes for the first time this year. May I ask what you do to keep your water from freezing?

I just keep it in my bag in a Nalgene and have never had any issues with it.

I love my. Silver heals! One of my favorites. At some point You should go climb crystal peak and father Dyer peak in the 10 mile range!

Both are def on the list, hoping to make a larger traverse across the 10 mile range to knock out a bunch of them at once.
