I ordered one of these from Amazon last night and awaiting delivery in a couple of days. You produced a good video review. Had I watched it before purchasing the microphone I may have picked something a little nicer. Now I'm considering returning it before I even use it.
Can this mike be used for piano classes on zoom?Because even after adjusting the zoom settings for original sound on laptop, it still doesn't pick up the piano sound with the inbuilt laptop mic.
Hi, I asked the chat service of maono for their best mic. They said PM471 is better than PM461TR, then they also said DM30 is better than PM471 - but I am intending it for Recording for Singing. All DM30 reviews are for gaming. Which Maono mic is best for recording singing? Thank you :)
Sorry, I cannot say which one is better because I wasn’t able to try other maono mics aside from pm471. Also, im not an expert when it comes to sound quality when recording songs.
You’ll be attaching this mic to a computer every time you use it. For you to monitor the output, you’ll be plugging in a headphone to the 3.5mm port. If I’m not mistaken, it’s not possible to use the computer’s speakers to monitor the output. But if there’s a way, I haven’t tried that yet.

@@weixiong91 ahhh… You use the 3.5 mm port of the mic to monitor your voice or input when speaking in-front of the mic. It’s not used as the speaker output of the computer.

Its good it comes with earphones that you can also use on your phone
Have you tried placing the fan behind the mic? Does the mic pick up the fan noise?
yes it can still pickup but minimal

How to cut background noise?
I use a software. Just google audacity. It’s free.
The noise cancelling doesn't seems working fine for this mic. The price is not that cheap either. The design is cool, though.
