    Thank You for cleaning up the rivers, streams, and other locations that you search! I do wish that all would do all that they could to clean u the environment! The first British coin that I ever found was a 1900 Victoria One Penny. I found that coin at a depth of 12+ inches on Reese Barracks, Augsburg, Germany. I had a very inexpensive metal detector, a Jetco Mustang. This was a BFO metal detector. This was my very first metal detector and cost me all of $29.95. LOL It sure served me well for three years! Thanks for a great video. Congrats on all your finds! Love those British Half and one Penny coins! ;-)

    The item at 7:30 is I believe a "stopper" for making clay pipes. It should be fixed onto the end of a hinged arm and pushed down into the clay pipe mold when the clay is still soft to form the inside of a bowl. If you look on youtube for a video called "Rex Key demonstrates how he make clay pipes" you will see how it is used.

    Another great video, Kris and nice to be reminded of sunshine! The 'REMOVE BEFORE FIRING' object is a Percussion fuze no.151, from a 2" mortar round. Pedant's corner: the Victoria penny is a Bun Head, not a Young Head. Well done on sniffing out the coin spill!

    The green jar is a beauty cream from Icilma, I have found one identical in New Zealand they are about 100 years old, here is an add from 1931 for this product: Advert for Icilma cream 1931 'Let Icilma cream reveal the beauty of your complexion'. Many women envy the beauty of some friend or prominent leader of society, little knowing that they themselves can secure a faultless complexion. Icilma cold cream is ideal for cleaning the skin and for massage. Emollient and beautifully scented, it penetrates deep into pores, removing dirt and grease which soap and water can never reach."

    Great video, might be wrong but I reckon the smaller coin in coin spill is George 2nd halfpenny, which is strange because that is not far off 200 years before George 5th, but maybe they were still in circulation which would be cool.

    • @Addictedtobleeps
      @Addictedtobleeps  5 лет назад

      Milo Barrowclough Weird isn’t it? It’s a great view from where the tree is, so I’m now wondering if the tree pre-dates all the coins and has been used by multiple people to sit under?

      @milobarrowclough2786 5 лет назад

      @@Addictedtobleeps yes maybe that's right, also there might have been several trees in that position over the centuries, we can only speculate but that's the thrill I guess.

    The George V penny 1918 looks like it has a letter H by the date which would make it minted at the Heaton mint and rarer that other coins and quite collectable.

    I'm not sure if you are aware, and I know you had permission, but rivers are closed to anglers until the 16th June. One of the reasons for this is fish spawn on the shallows, and anglers wading can destroy the spawn. It's a very small stream but you could do some damage.

    Super stuff Kris... Shame the stream didn't pan out (pan lol no pun intended. {Gold panning - get it?} - oh never mind lol.
    Shame the stream didn't Pan out as planned.
    I think the coin spill is awesome. I wanna find a spill next to a tree. That'd be cool. I found a spill under a tree once - turned out to be a spilt box of nails 🤦‍♂️ less said the better..
    I think the battered coin is an old George, which is really bizzare because if it's a coin spill. What was someone doing with all them spendable pennies within that time period AND one that had been discontinued during that time. Maybe I'm missing something and getting myself confused, just as you seemed to do..haha.
    I dunno, it's wierd. But what a feeling to have all them under a tree... Basically it's logic being proven.. ie. Someone could have possibly sat down next to this tree and dropped stuff from his pocket.... And hey presto - the logical thinking paying off. 👏👏👏 Quality.
    Well done Kris, and as always, a nice pleasant watch 👍
    Take care chap 😉 Whoop Whoop 👍

    Great video. as a point of interest, I have noticed that all detectorists under the age of about 50 pronounce the halfpenny as "half penny." I am old enough to remember spending them. The pronunciation was "haypnee." Also, of interest, a threepence was pronounced "thrupance" and a sixpence was pronounced "sixpunce." I used to spend those victorian pennies and halfpennies as a kid to buy sweets etc. Even young head victoria pennies were still in circulation until decimal currency came in on February 15th 1971.
