I thought the same but apparently she dumped Clay again (according to a conversation between Clay&Sonny). What happened is that the actress got a main role in another series thats why the writers wrote her out of the series. I also read that she will come back as "guest star" in 3×11 so i'm excited to see what's gonna happen between the 3 of them.

@@mbazoka Clay had a very interesting reaction about Stella. He clearly held the distance but I think if he loved Rebecca he would told Stella about being in a relationship but he didn't. He still have feelings for her and also i'm worrying that his political carreer will be danger to his military one.
Clay made a mistake of dating Rebecca. She as a company director, was truly a fake. She was using Clay to advance herself in the political arena. Why did Clay talk about Brett to Rebecca ? When congressman Suzuki mentioned about Brett, Clay should have told off Rebecca.
