Paul isn't with the Beatles when that interview is conducted, faux Paul was already in effect and his explanation falls short. The esoteric take on it is that biological Paul picked up a meter maid before his alledged car crash that's said to have killed him. More likely is that he was killed and made to appear an "accident" after the fact. To be honest I cannot prove that Paul is dead, I can merely establish that he was replaced by the Billy Shears character, played by the dude with the elongated face and fugazi mustache who has played that part for longer than JPM was alive (24 years). The easiest way to establish this is to take photos of Paul from the summer of 1966 during that last US Tour.
Compare those photos to those of "Paul", subsequent to his reappearance in December 1966 outside Abbey Road studio after just disappearing off the face of the map, has an elongated face compared to Paul's round cherubic face. Seems to have grown taller by inches and to top all of the strangeness off is that obviously fake mustache he';s rocking. He doesn't look like the same man in the pictures taken only months before, well less than a year band people don't change that much.
