CFOX Radio launch.
CFOX began broadcasting October 15, 1964 on 99.3 with 100,000 watts, under the call sign CKLG FM. CKLG initially began with an easy listening format, but in the fall of 1967, it started experimenting with rock music at night.

I remember the first Fox mascot had stoner eyes, however in the uptight 80s they were changed to a less droopy look. Sad.
