- This is the first-ever rules of exponents algebra tutorial I made on RUclips in 2013.
The 2013 video: • (Q1.) Sample 3 GCC Mat... (in fact, this video was the first time I stepped into the video)

I couldn't resist remaking this video.
That’s crazy how you looked when you were young
By the way iam 14 but I still like to watch your videos even if I don’t get anything
@@Morbius787Keep watching, and eventually you will start getting it!
You were soo handsome
this shows that you've always been a great teacher ❤
You make it look so simple! Thank you!
Either you’ve gotten a lot taller or you moved your whiteboard down 😂
This is fun to watch!
Problem solved on the board is different than that in the thumbnail.
Just fixed. Thanks for pointing that out! : )
Hey bprp! I have to solve this system of equations in a calc 3 problem. The system of equations are the following:
4x^3 + 100y = 0
4y^3 + 100x = 0
I know that one of the real solutions is the origin but I can't seem to be able to find the other 2 real solutions. I was able to find the complex solutions though. Can you help me find the real solutions please?
x=-5, y=5
x=5, y=-5
should work
@@bprpmathbasics I also got this answer but only from wolframalpha. I am just not sure how to do this algebraically. When I tried adding the 2 equations together, I was only able to get the complex solutions.
@@bprpmathbasics That was also what I got but only using wolframalpha. I am just not sure how to be able to get the real solutions algebraically.
Almost. To be sure that the expression is not undefined, we must specify that x, y and z are all non-zero. Particularly tricky if we are asked to do this first, cancelling all the y terms and are then subsequently given values, say x=2, y=0, z=3 and asked to give a numerical answer.
I still hear the intro piano music in my head :^)

um, is this channel hacked? 😳
❤
Cool teacher then, cool teacher now.
You are now 29 years old
I have approximately calculated the year you published the video (2013) and subtract 5 years from 2000 (1995)
= 1995 + 2024 = 2029 ~ 29 (maybe you are 35)
why u so cute
That is inappropriate.
No lol@@robertveith6383
