Thank you for the video. I have a hospitality LG 55LV560H at home. When I try to answer hold the setting button for 5 or 10 seconds nothing happens. Any idea how can I reset or deactivate the hospitality mode? Thank you in advance
I pulled up the manual for this model and it looks that it might be more complex to do anything with this TV as it's dedicated for commercial hotel applications with remote centralized control via LG's ProCentric. Try maybe this link for the FTG software www.lg.com/us/business/display-solutions/ftg With procentric I'm aftraid it might be more difficult to obtain that.
Unfortunately many people probably watching this are actually in a hotel and using a “clean remote” so I’m guessing I’ll have to buy a universal remote for each time I stay at a hotel? All I want to do is switch the resolution because my pc is hooked up to the hotel TV and everything’s all stretched out so I guess not today
And make sure its an LG replacement remote, since not all universal remotes transmit the same signals...got a room with a clean remote and the GE remote I have can't move the cursor.
You can try "mute 1 1 9 enter” although it might be additionally password protected. If it lets you through and displays the hidden menu, there should be a hospitality mode on/off option, which can also be called standalone/interactive, with the later being the equivalent to “off”
I’m afraid you don’t :( if everything is locked out, I can only imagine taking the TV apart, hooking up to the microprocessor (I2C etc.) and reprogramming it with a fresh firmware upload.
Can you please help , i have very similar LG tv, I turned hotel mode as you show, but my problem is that now i cant remove it and all buttons are blocked , working only power button. Is there any chance to factory reset tv without remote?
I would assume that with the buttons locked and no remote it might be impossible to do anything, as the idea of this is to secure even more the TV to prevent unauthorized tampering. If it’s a more modern “smart” TV a possible workaround could be trying to perform a firmware upgrade if your TV model foresees such possibility over USB, although I suspect that this still might be more complex than just popping in the pendrive with upgrade image :(
Lamentablemente, algunos hoteles son más "inteligentes" y desactivan completamente el acceso, por lo que es imposible desactivar el modo hotel en dichos televisores. :(
Does it have Hotel Mode? I don’t see that mentioned anywhere in the specification or manuals. Only “store display mode” used for demonstration, but that should be generally accesible from the regular menu using the remote and selecting “home use”
Which TV model? Unfortunately if there is no remote control I suspect that the TV buttons were the first thing they also disabled, making it impossible to switch off the hotel mode. However, you could try one of those universal remote control apps, although those are also hardware dependent (your phone has to have IR output capabilities)
If it asks, than it had been set by the installer, can be anything :( … but if it was just switched on to ask for one leaving the default, LG generally uses 0000 or 1234 as preset defaults

It's works on Vienna's hotel, Austria. After switched off the hotel mode, i saw the hdmi option and it's worked. Thank you very much.
Great to hear!
This is the only thing that worked for us!
Dziekuje bardzo brought our firestick to Kolobrzeg Hotel/Spa locked to hotel mode 👍🏻 yours was the only one that worked 😁
Glad I helped, hope you had a great time in Kolobrzeg
Wow amazing thanks on different models hold setting down then 1105 then ok button

fckng legend ... just saved the day!
just don't watch too much of "those" channels, or you might go blind 😉

Do you have the unlock for Toshiba ruler?

@@TomaszPlawski I can't do that as I'm on the hotel and the TV is firmly attached to the wall 😀😀

They watched this literally all buttons are locked but volume up/down next and previous channel and on/off.
Can I still do that even though I do not have original tv remote?
Are you able at all to access the regular menu? Usually when TV is set to hotel mode the first thing they disable are the buttons on the TV itself
No remote buttons work on mine.
Tried to hold menu on TV itself. Can i get universal and make this work
I try different things and I can’t still make it work
Sometimes they block off everything so much, that even the hotel itself is unable to unlock this mode, blocking off all menu access methods :)
there is not even settings button and i can't access to menu
How do I do it on a lg 39ly560h
try this www.avsforum.com/threads/lg-tv-global-dimming-and-hotel-mode-disabling-instructions.2097866/ (potential codes for this model on the bottom)
mine is model m2252d - ps

dont work
Do you know the exact TV model? It could be they locked out all of the options.
Where is the hdmi port on the TV? On the side only has avs
Should be the same as here www.lg.com/ae/tvs/lg-52LG70YR-lcd-tv#none
2:15 The television asks for a password in the auto update section, do you know this password? I would be very grateful if you answer

@@TomaszPlawski I solved the password problem, but I cannot do anything after what you did, it says channel not found.
