Instead of repairing it, we are considering buying a new water purifier. We live in a 5 floor multi storey building in Indore, M.P. and have a TDS between 300-400 ppm. TDS is 350-370, a combination of borewell and tanker water. Not sure if I need RO or if I am just fine with UV+UF. Since it is tanker water- I feel like I should use RO, but then again not sure how much the output water TDS would be... Any suggestions would help. Thank you!

On Amazon and Flipkart reviews of Kent maxx UV & Kent pristine UV , People have said that Kent installation guy ask them to buy & install external sediment filter by paying extra else warranty will be void. But these machines already have sediment filter inside , so why another sediment filter ?.

Hi bro. Maine Aquagaurd Astor Ro + uv water purifier mangwa liya. But maine order krne se pehle apne tap water ka tds level check nahi Kiya tha, aaj check Kiya to 350 ke around dikha raha. On Amazon and Flipkart reviews of Kent maxx UV & Kent pristine UV , People have said that Kent installation guy ask them to buy & install external sediment filter by paying extra else warranty will be void.
But these machines already have sediment filter inside , so why another sediment filter ?.

Hi bro. Maine Aquagaurd Astor Ro + uv water purifier mangwa liya. But maine order krne se pehle apne tap water ka tds level check nahi Kiya tha, aaj check Kiya to 350 ke around dikha raha. Ab mujhe lag rha Maine RO leke galti kar di, paise zyada lage wo koi issue nahi hai but RO me jo tds bohot Kam ho jata hai aur uske chalte jo health risks hote hain, uska soch ke lag rha i made a blunder.
350ppm tds me mujhe uv + uf lena chaiye tha, but maine bina tds check kiye RO le liya. Ab paani peene me bhi guilt aega😐
I have asked the installation guy to remove tds controller as I don't want to mix impure water with filtered water to increase its tds.
Kindly tell me one thing, what would be the tds of the purified water considering tapwater tds is 350-360 ppm? Avi Maine install nahi karwaya hai purifier, ek do din baad hoga, islye aapse puch rha.. will check tds personally once the purifier is installed.

Hi bro, is the UV filter of Kent made of Aluminium or Stainless steel? As i have researched that Aluminium material used in purifier might release aluminium oxide which is damaging for the brain in long run, they have not mentioned anything of the material of filters used, neither on Kents website not Amazon/ Flipkart, when checked with customer care executive he too mentioned it's not on website but as per his knowledge it is stainless steel, he did not sound confident when he gave that answer. Is it possible for you to guide us a stainless steel filter purifier other than AO Smith? (It's service is not available everywhere) It would be a huge help if you help us! 😃 And thank you for always giving Unbiased Knowledge! 😇😁✌️
