You nailed it - when Austin Brown was a kid, he sometimes traveled & sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia. If you wanna see him go "full gospel" watch their collaboration with the Oak Ridge Boys on "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" or their video of "My Church". Thanks for playing this one!
Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. Drummers have often commented on just how realistic his sound is. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.
Austin's father was a Southern Baptist touring singer and Austin joined him on stage when he was very young. And in college he led a worship choir, so he has LOTS of SBC background.
Oh, Yeah….Too Short….Austin sings with his Soul ♥️💕♥️‼️🎶🎵🎶‼️ He’s been sing since he was a child (in the church…even with his father, who had a gospel quartet)🎶♥️🎶
So good. This was during Covid so they weren’t even together. Thought the use of tvs was clever. Austin (lead here) and Adam (beatboxer) killed it. Good one!😍😄
It is 4:36 am on a Saturday morning and I'm getting the giggles watching your reaction to Home Free. Who would have guessed my day would start out with such joy. Keeping the smiles and enjoying the show.
Just now hearing your reactions. How are you doing? Hang in there, everything’s gonna be OK! Look up the Medals Album by Russ Taff from 1985 and react to the title song. It might blow you away!
When I was 12 years old this song was on the jukebox down at the Mill House where I lived. Percy Sledge was singing that song then. Now home free has it. I think they did it justice. It was my favorite song back in the day. You should look it up and listen to Percy Sledge do it. He did the original. I really enjoyed your show
NO NO... You NEED to do Home Free cover of "BOYZ II MEN - END OF THE ROAD" .. I grew up with that song.. and let me tell you... THEY KILL IT!! They may even own it now... NO JOKE!! Plz react to that one11
Austin KILLED this! As they all did🥰🎶Sadly Austin is leaving soon to spend time with his new bride & hopefully begin his family. He’s such a strong voice he’ll me so missed!

The song was sung on stage live the day it was written. Luckily, they were recording, or it would have been lost for all the great singers who have been able to sing it since., including Home Free.
Austin Brown was the "sanger" on this. Don't wait so long before your next Home Free reaction. There is a lot more where that came from.
Yes sir!!! Check out "My Church" by Home Free. You will hear for sure that Austin Brown was raised in the church choir!!!

His father was in a Southern Baptist Quartet
Austin after college was an entertainer on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. That's where he met Home Free.
Austin absolutely killed this one. His southern gospel background shines through in this one!

They're my favorite acapella group. Man of constant sorrow is my fave
This song was first recorded in 1966 by Percy Sledge. It's unclear if he wrote it, but his band got the credit. I've always loved this song.
#HOMEFREE....amazing!

I’m so sad Austin is leaving Home Free
Austin Brown will be that man and he just left the band of home Free I don't know but I'm sad😢
Hasn't left yet. He's staying through this tour into October at least.
Whoops! I was wrong. But Bastien sounds just perfect in his own right. Welcome back to the front of the stage Mr. Bell-Bastien.
Covid time recording - why they’re all on different cameras…all across the country.
I guess we didn’t know HOW much he meant this song since he has chosen to give up Home Free so he can spend more time at honeymoon with his woman.
If it's alright ill send some more email music video request?
I'm new to your channel and really liking it 😊 have you reacted to any Journey songs?
He’s leaving Homefree 😢
Noooo ,that's sad
Didn't he just do that!
He peed all over that song.
Sadly Austin has left Home Free
