Good to know that the jettisoned equipment burns up, but it would be nice to have some information about this in the video. How often is stuff jettisoned like this and how long does it take to re-enter the atmosphere? What angle do the astronauts throw the stuff? How come these things re-enters the atmosphere and not other things that the ISS sometimes does avoidance maneuvers for?
Why do they jettison the cable reals? Why not store them for return to Earth or to be used again in the future? Why just add to the amassing amount of space junk?
Things jettisoned from the station actually burn up, they dont stay up there.
