What you often see in E36 Turbos is a 7-series diff. If you don't have a turbo then generally naturally aspirated cars want to run lower ratio gears because it increases acceleration.

cast iron block* on 2.8Z's came with an Aluminum block. Vanos will be fine up to $500.

Ive here everythings good to 600hp easily, at least on the American m52 with iron block

Should produce more power at 1 bar. I make 450HP at 1 bar.

All depends on the size of the turbo... 1 bar on a t25 vs 1 bar on a gtx45 is easily a 600hp difference
