6:49 how did you move the chuck, mine is like stuck. Its my first time using a drill kit and i have no clue to fix this. I cant insert a drill kit. Can you help please.
Great review. I think I’ll get one of those. At the moment I own an old Black and Decker cordless that always lets me down as it is so underpowered. I also have a big, heavy drill with a cord….which I find far to heavy to handle. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment, if you want something with a bit more power I have a DeWalt that comes with 2 batteries amzn.to/38GPtqD that is my best cordless drill
I bought the exact same drill set in Australia for $44 au. Is seems ok but I haven't used it much. The included tools however are not much use. The Philips head driver clipped to the the drill stripped out the first time I tried to extract a screw. Made of very soft steel. Drill bit not much good either. Handy drill and case though. I like cheap tools they usually perform well for me and if the do give up after a couple of years just buy a new one . Horse for courses and more$ still in my pocket
I’ve got this drill used it for screwing 5x90mm screws for partitions around 300 screws and it has now lost power and struggles to do much so I would say roughly 5-600 screws before it gave up. I wouldn’t recommend for anything hard going like what I used for this is more ideal for smaller diy jobs not reliable for bigger jobs as it will let you down.
Well my sister-in-law has been using it on solid wood and has no issues, but you have to remember this is a budget drill and is not ideal for big drilling jobs, I have 2 drills a big heavy one for the toughest of work and a cordless for the small jobs
I've bought one of these 2 days ago, for me the speed setting switch does nothing? It seems to have the same fairly slow spin speed regardless of which speed I select. I checked your vid out to see and there's no visible change in pitch when you change speeds either. Is the speed switch doing anything on yours in your opinion? Great vid btw
Thanks for the comment Mitch, yeah there is a difference in speed when you change it up or down plus it depends on how much you squeeze the trigger as well, it could be you just have a bad one.
What does it say in the instrutions about charging a battery, can the charger be left on continuosly (auto) without damaging the battery for example? Or is there a Max' charge time?
It's a very simple basic charger. Leave it charging untill the light led on the charger turns green. I wouldn't advise leaving it un attended, ie overnight. The instructions with mine were absolutely useless. Took me a while to find charge socket on the back of the battery. Have fun

Glad I could help! and thanks for the feedback @a.hussain248
I’m glad you still explained the settings for screws/ hammer head/ drilling,,,nobody explained this, great video/ new subscriber 😊
Thank you kronchy for the feedback glad to help
Very good video. I just took delivery and while the battery came charged, I don't see a charging port on the battery or the drill.
Remove the battery you should see a small hole for plugging in the power
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs Aha! Got it. Thanks!
@@glennover6046 Thanks for letting me know Glenn
QUESTION: Now that you've had it a while. How is the power and battery life?
I don't have it, my sister in-law has it and is still using it, she says it's still working fine with no issues
Great video for new to cordless drill
Thank you Sunshine for the kind comment
Thanks. I'm that person who does need to be shown how to use it. I saw this model on sale so I'll buy it now.

Sorry for the late reply AK, all you do is put the drill in reverse and hold the chuck drill with your other hand and it will open the gap
Engage the slow speed gear when opening the chuck
the most important thing was not mentioned the chuck size , 13mm ?? , if its 10mm its not much use

Can we use for concrete wall?
Yes it can be provided it's not used for long periods of time
Would this work in cement block walls ? Small drill holes?
Yes it will

It was about £39 but it's not on there anymore

The piece of wood seems old and soft, how does it works on a solid wood?

So without the battery it is almost 1 KG and with the battery it is around 0.5 KG.
Sorry it's not going to be lighter with the battery
They've now gone down in price, starting price you'll find between £25-30

Sorry, but it does not say, all it says is do not overcharge the battery
