I have a question about this build. Maybe I missed it. Why do you run deadly strikes if you aren’t using the beam? What does it buff? Is it just for ultimate? It doesn’t buff the runeblades or anything does it? Malacath is an interesting choice and gives me a reason to bring it out again! I want to use this build I’m just trying to understand why is all 😊

fun fact: i tried nearly the same same build same day arcanist came out... but i got sword and shield ulti "spell wall" backbar in combination with vampire skill "drain vigor"... u just load up ur stam and hp when on ulti and u dont mind about incoming dmg... that is working quite good in battlegrounds, too... i took potentates set backbar, though... crux´s build seems more fine adjusted, though... cause with wretched that will kick ass much longer... or should we try put dark conv on instead? u can go vatesh sword and shield and kinda nasty way pull the zerg by "reverberating bash" ... haha... 2sec b4 ur abyssal shield ulti reflects u just pull and cast dark conv... haha that would be the arcan supreme bombing...
Wow great build. I just came back to ESO after leaving for 3 years. I love the arcanist so far, but have only gotten pve gear etc in the last month. I am just now dabbling in PVP and have a great 1v1 setup. I am building out this build, and I am wondering if you wouldn't mind doing a cliff notes version of your basic rotation on this build. If not, thanks for all you have helped with already!!!

I don't know what is wrong I have the same setup but you have about 3,000 more health than I do. Everything is pretty much identical. I even have and infused health glyph on one of the armor pieces. When I say about the same you have tri-stat glyphs and I just use straight-up health
Going to try your build, but one question though... why the ice staff over say a lightning staff? Is there a reason that depends on the Ice Staff that I missed. I prefer a lightning staff because it does damage to other enemies as well. Just curious and maybe you can explain that or just tell you have a preference to Ice Staff. Thanks!
I actaully was using a build very similar to this but I had sea serpents instead of malacath. I like yours better though cause now I can take off camo hunter and not worry about crit
Now my only thing is pains refuge cp, potentially reducing your incoming dmg by 20% but if your play is to absorb as much dmg as possible thrn unleash it it might be better with another cp??
@@Homesteadhumor People keep saying it's not very good, relying on proc sets, people saying good players will always dodge the beam, etc. I don't get it. It seems amazing. Some of the stuff it can do is just absolutely wild.
@@AllThingsFascinate I do think it’s good but I still think dk and night blade are better … the beam is op you need to stun them then beam them… the stun gives minor brittle which is great … I think as a healer this is god tier but I wouldn’t want to duel anyone with this for money 💰I don’t love it
You didn't break squat because they just nerfed Arcanist. You now lose your crux after 30 seconds, even in combat. And you lose all crux icons and crux buffs after you have been out of combat for 30 seconds. No more pre-buffing that beam. And it has the bonus side effect that I no longer have to see 37 million green triangles in every damn town and wayshrine....
It’s ah shit Ton of ppl throwing green Doritos at me calling themselves arcanist I bought necrom for the redguard companion that was it I didn’t care for the class I like my stamplar I am going to make a character that uses it though so I can see what the fuss is all about might even turn my stamplar into in arcanist just to see what skill merge with it and which ones don’t cuz the vampire back bar just lacks to me I would have loved to pair my stamplar with arcanist abilities but that ain’t gonna happen lol imagine being able to pick two classes we gone break the game

What's fun about a 1 button build? Basically it's overpowered d-staff heavy attacks. I don't get how pushing the same button over & over is fun but to each their own.
Have a big shield and take the most damage you can. If you use, Lefhanders mythic belt, you get a free shield when you roll dodge to further push the damage higher on Abysal Shield
Its interesting how inconsistent the info is about gibbering ult. Some creators say it is not affected by pen or any buffs, yet i know abyssal ink for sure buffs it. Some say you can use shield abilities while the ult it up and it doesnt hurt the damage. I'd be interested in seeing more community testing to really get it minmaxed
As stated previously this build just isn't good there is way better in slot options and if you beam your doing it wrong brawler builds are far superior beams are easily countered.
I don't see it getting nerf if tht gets nerf ppl or really stupid number one stop attacking is counter play to tht.. So if thy nerf it im going to laugh so much ill get a headache

Roksa the Warped is pushing both stamina and magicka recovery to over 2500 each. It’s allowing me to use two damage sets and use damage glyphs.

Deadly buffs dots and the shield is considered a dot.

I am missing something big, but your ultimate is 129k damage. I have half of that. It scales from health, but I have 41k. What am I missing?

Only use draugerkin when you have fast hitting small dots. For slow hitting big dots, deadly is vastly better

Draugerkin only works better for faster hitting small dots. Deadly is better for the slow hitting heavy dots

What about daedric trickery for major heroism?
I tried both, I didn't feel like heroism. Helped me get the kills I needed. I prefer the insane sustain so I can go all out
