Jonathan do it. All I reccomend is putting like a grand aside for stuff that could happen, hpfp, oil filter housing gasket. It’s not that bad as an owner if you are handy and can do diy
@@elekonasThey are objectively better but they lack the rawness and the kind of feeling you have with older cars. It's still one of the coolest modern cars. 335i are somewhere between and I really like them. I own an e87 120d and I really love it. It has the same suspension as e9x but you can really feel the weight difference. I only wish it had more power :D

@@MrZyLeXx not really, the s54 can handle hella power too, just put a few mods and we good. Plus the s54 was built for naturally aspirated and smooth power, not turbo lag
@@PHFilms3 Ever heard of the LS7? Sounds amazing, 505hp and 470tq STOCK, and can get 30mpg on the highway. Same can be said for a lot of LS engines really. And the LS7 specifically weighs 24lbs more than the N54. I love BMW inline sixes but you can't be that misinformed about modern performance V8s.

@@mammothfire this engine has no rod bearing problems (n54). Ive heard some uncommon problems with rod bearings on n55 tho.

B58 is in the new supra, which is a better version of this engine with less issues and more power and better economy. So you're quite close

V8 garbage...Loud, slow and drinks gas. The smoothness of a bmw inline six is unmatched. Torque is king. S65 has less torque than a honda odyssey lol

@@Qvatroos Pretty sure that's a 335 with a M3 bodykit. Look at the exhaust tips. And it does not sound like a S65.
