Update: I've checked on the issue, i tried so many solutions and when i was about to give up, i remembered one simple update that they changed in 1.18 Notice when you just updated to 1.18 it asked you to move your minecraft files to a new location? That's the issue that made it impossible to modify practically anything; 1) Your Minecraft folder directory might not be in games>com.mojang> anymore cuz of the new update, instead it's now on android>data>com.mojang.minecraftpe>files>games>com.mojang>minecraftpe and from there do the same steps as in this video, it should work NOW Sorry for the slow response, i was so busy with school and couldn't find time for my channel. I did everything and even turned off v-sync my phone is Redmi note 10 Pro max and my Minecraft Version is the latest I do have the files and everything but it's not working. and when I open the app the fps becomes 60 and my phone is 120Hz.
When i open the txt file with wps it says vsync 0 but when i do it with another app it just goes back to 1 leaving me with still the vsync my phone runs on 120hz
for me screen tears is almost unoticable (yes i have bad eyes), so i don't care. it's not an outdated old games where if the fps reach more than 30 or 60 the engine will breaks but idk tho

Dont believe the gfx_max_framerate to 0 make them to 60,70,80,90,240 or 250 it will make your fps to high That guy trying to trick you If you make your gfx_max_framerate 0 it kick your game

Try deleting the file. Although, I think it will erase all of your settings so you should probably screenshot them or something so you can set them back to how u had them.
