Hi Yasmine!! ❤Regarding what the CEO of BH said at the beginning, he refers to the expectation that had been generated around their debut. I remember that time, and they didn't have it easy. They were the first group to debut in BH after 6 years and everyone had their eyes on them. And even if it was unfair, I think the comment was very true, all new groups have 1 year to be called "rookies", that is, they can have errors, fears and shortcomings, but txt never had that period, all the media expected perfection and if it wasn't like that, they said it was a failure, because they were "the little brothers of bts and you couldn't expect anything less". Just thinking about how many trainees BH must have had in that 6 year period, how hard it must have been to stand out and be chosen to debut. But well, despite the comparisons, for me, seeing the interactions between both groups is adorable.

Excited to see who your bias will be. 🥰 Edit: I think what Bang PD tried to say there was, that when a new group debuts under a company where there are only them or are many other groups they "allowed" by the general puplic to have a starting point , whereas TXT who debuted under a label who only had bts as their other group, aka a very famous band, the literal best group of the industry, txt did not have the chance to start their journey as they had to from the very first moment step up to a level which is not a rookie group level. They did not start from the "new group under xy label" they debuted as "the new group under Bts's label", so they had an extremely high expectation towards them and needed to live up to it by being better, than they should've been under another label. But then again, this being a thing and not allowing them to make rookie mistakes because their label is THE BTS LABEL is just....it's just truly messed up. And I think this is kinda because people wanted to see the 2019 Bts level from them from the beginning, not the 2013 rookie Bts level, they saw someone who already succeded and thought okay, then they will do the same, forgetting, that Bts had 6 years behind them at that point with all those years' experience, mistakes and achievments. And all the lessons those taught to the boys.

And they already dislike bts for their fame they reached without the korean music industy's help, so having another group with high potential made other groups' fandom's mad and also some armies as they saw it as a way to replace bts. They never truly gave txt a chance to be new and make begginer's mistakes, they weren't even given a chance to be more than just bts's little brother group in the beggining. And that was all before they even debuted, it was just announced they will do. But it is fate, and they proved everyone wrong. And they will continue to do more in the future.

I think you misunderstood the quote. It wasn't saying other groups didn't deserve their hype. Just that most other rookie group is given the benefit of the doubt and growth is noticeable while txt had the pressure before they even debuted and a lot of high expectations placed on them.☺️ hope I explained that well😅
If you didn't know , till date many armys and haters called txt leeches and priveleges saying jk got food on their table and pays their bills blah blah,... The fact every active kpop group rn got all those priveleges yet txt alone had to take all the blame for it. N calling them leeches and priveledged is the only thing haters can say cuz in terms of achivements and charts on BB, no one has been able to get near txt.
