What did you find out on tolerances? I just checked mine after watching this and mine has 1/16” movement

If I could get the axle out easily I could live with 1/16

What about setting up a dial indicator to check run out on the axle tube as you roll the rear end over?

Put a small weight on the end that goes into the bucket to hold it down on the bottom

Make axle press ,you can press your axles straight. I’ve seen brand new axles out .045 out of the box. .012 is straight

I wouldn’t think that little bit off on your rear axle tube is going to be a huge issue or noticeable.. I’d check it in dynamics and then you’d be able to adjust it out that way with the car in dynamics

Tim we have handles to pull and align axles. Plus I have a slide hammer that I made up to pull stubborn axels.

Is there a difference when you pull the axels out first and then check the to see if the rear-end is bent?
