I'm so glad you picked up on Peabo's "opera voice," as I have always called it. When he really gets into his upper range and holds a note, he sounds very much like an opera tenor, especially the vibrato. I've always wondered if he was classically trained similar to Regina.
He performed in theatre and operatic productions in the tenor roles...
