As someone who recently switched from s24 ultra to the iPhone 17 PM I have to say the battery life is phenomenal. HDR in apps like Netflix it’s so much brighter. But I have to say I miss how fluid one ui 8 is comparatively. iOS feels like moving through molasses. Takes twice the input to do the same objective.
I've been waiting to switch to iOS since galaxy S6, they still didn't fix back button on top left corner, easy file management, I guess I'm going with S26Ultra, and give apple few more years to catch up... I always hope that I'm buying my last Samsung. As an ipad and MacBooks user, I'd love to switch, but there are some few unbearable things, that would piss me off everyday. Great video, exactly what I was looking for! Thanks a lot
11:14 As long as your face is somewhat in front of the phone then it should be able to unlock even when it's on a table. It has a pretty wide FOV. Also based on the video you showed of you unlocking the phone, I'd say you should try setting up FaceID again. It should be instant but in your vid it looked like it took 2-3 seconds which isn't normal. I have my phone in front of me here and literally the instant that I wake the display it unlocks.
With the help of the shortcut app in iOS, you can customize your icon image to look like anything you want and then assign that shortcut to a certain app.
Back swipe on both sides is more prone to accidental back swipes TBH. I prefer back button on Android, while I prefer left side only back swipe on iPhone, preventing accidental back swipe from the right.
The one thing that I like about iPhones and iOS over Android is the uniformity. The icons, UI elements and even the phone itself is all uniform with each other. Android is almost always a mixed bag of mish mashed UI elements and phones, and consistently feels like it's suffering from an identity crisis.
I have to say, as someone who typically leans very heavily towards Android… these new iPhones are phenomenal. I have been enjoying the hell out of my 17 Pro.
Genuine question, phenomenal in what way? My partner loves Apple and I'm a Samsung fan but honestly his phone 17 iPhone pro max seems so far behind Samsung flagship phones even now in 2025.
@kellymorton6001Unless you use it you can’t really tell, there’s hardly a difference between the 2 flagships, apart from the pro max having slightly better battery life, gaming performance and temperature control. Camera’s are also arguably better
11:15 even my old 13 Pro can unlock with face ID from quite an angle when on a table and I have require attention enabled too. Eventually the angle is too great but I unlock from such a position dozens of times per day almost no retries ever lol. All that said I missed touch ID the moment I left from a 6s to the 11 Pro BUT nowadays with my face being able to unlock any app I absolutely love it couldn’t go back
at 15:07 you can still see those green floating circles that i thought was only an issue on iPhone 13 or due to my camera protector. thats disappointing.
something that is overlooked in comparisons is the support of apps. I bought a Samsung phone and like half a year later devs no longer cared about fixing bugs in apps, like in Instagram, Reddit and others. But I think in Iphone its much more stable.
Is it true that iPhone have only 1 volume slider? That controls all volume? Like if listen music at 20% alarm or ringtone be 20% to? As Samsung have volume sliders for almost everything music volume ringtone alarm system sound 😱
I was in the same boat man. I’ve had so many issues with Apple but decided to try the 17pm and unfortunately the issues are still happening. I will be returning for the S25 Ultra.
@ikennaifedilo5300completely different. BlackBerry was made for adults with jobs. Teens are obsessed over status and fashion. 2 different target groups.
Bro turned his iOS to android
That's why iPhones should be tested by Android users, and Android based phones should be tested by iPhone users.
Very well said.
yeah i do have both do love the pixel but keep on giving myself some fresh vibes whenever new ios update comes switiching to iphone for a month or two
No lol
Finally a video about going from Android to iOS that talks about things people actually do with their phones. Thank you for this.
that back navigation being everywhere would lose the living daily light out of me.
Extreme Android User turns ios to android ;)
Yeah he made it more interesting😜
Eheheh
Yes, that was the best bit, classic
Best review. I am a huge Apple fan. He is doing a review without making fun of people having another os like most reviewers out there. Polite and calm. Best review ever
"Customise the living daylight out of it"😂
Dude you turned your iPhone into a android.
"optimized".

How was the process of changing all your photos and files etc.? I’m on the fence about changing and that is probably my biggest concern
What was the reason to switch from a Ultra to an iPhone if I may ask??? Seems such a regression...
@jeanbaptistelabellehe was held at gunpoint!
@jeanbaptistelabelle tired of samsung and wanted something new
@jeanbaptistelabelleiOS is more polished
Ios, finally catches up to windows vista.
This is such an underrated take!
😂
I dunno but there's something still holding me back with the iPhone even though I'm using Android.
Same here, man. I'm torn between the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. I've had Android for 12 years.
Samsung has the best lock screen implementation, video lock screen
iphone can become Android phone , but Android cant become iPhone

Wow, awesome comparison! Thank you for that!
Very nice video and review! 🍊
I have used both iOS and android, I love them both. I love android because it allows me to side load apps, for everything else I use ios.
This is so true, i have an iPhone and i suffer from all of the things he’s saying 😞💔
You’re so talented ❤ next level production quality
You should’ve included the double back and triple back tap as well.
17 pro max is insane 💀
That setup is sick
I switched to the S25U, after 10 years of using iPhones, I can never go back to using iPhones.
How so?
I bought S24 FE and I love it
I also bought it a week ago and really loving the one ui 8.
How's your battery life?
@tiichkyau8265pretty good but the charging speed sucks a bit, my last phone had 68W so I'm bit spoiled now
I was thinking about getting it i really like how well Samsung made it. How's the battery life?
@katinasoutherland7693 it's pretty good, one of the best phones and the battery life is pretty good
You are amazing and such a kind and beautiful person ❤❤❤
You forgot to mention that the keyboard on Android is so much better than on iOS
According to Android users?
@nunosapunso6239 according to normal people
@chickenstrangler3826define normal
@nunosapunso6239keyboard is actually really poor on iOS
I'm surprised you didn't mention your experience with Apple's keyboard
Yeah. It's been failing recently
It's a dumpster fire 🔥
Good video 👍
Good job i enjoyed your interview watching from my iPhone 14 Plus i miss my Samsung it’s been a few years since my last Samsung
I have the 17 in black. i loveeee this phone. esp the new front facing camera!
Good the video bro 👍
13:55 bro samsung makes colors like a cotton candy
Nice thorough video! 👌
Ayyyy that Sol v Luna medium widget is one of mine 🙌🏻
You have turned heel. Lol
The video I needeed 😂❤
28 IOS users had a problem with this video
I'm interested in what the audio is like compared to other phones
iphone experience overall still feels like a ui of android when you turn on kids mode.

MY BOY GO DUCKS!!!!
good job nice video
One of the things I hated the most but didn't realize with the iPhones was the weight, my s25 ultra feels lighter than the 16 pro...
You can overlay RUclips videos from the RUclips app. Im watching this video while playing pokemon
Great yoy made it look like a samsung 😂
About the lock screen, where the object move with ur hand movements in iphone
I actually have this similar effect on my Hyperos
I try iPhone about every three generations. I try to fit in. All my family uses iPhones. iMessage and all that. I always go back to Android.
6:47 it’s a shutter button like on real cameras, if you turn the phone horizontal that feature would make more sense
I have to say, as someone who typically leans very heavily towards Android… these new iPhones are phenomenal. I have been enjoying the hell out of my 17 Pro.
U think i can switch from s24 u to 17 pm??
@roamohamed6118if you play alot of games, it’s a massive upgrade, the gpu in the 17 pm is miles ahead of the 16 pm and even the s25 ultra
Genuine question, phenomenal in what way? My partner loves Apple and I'm a Samsung fan but honestly his phone 17 iPhone pro max seems so far behind Samsung flagship phones even now in 2025.

Iphones are for simple minded people. That is why you like it.

Morning!
17:14 say that again
deep blue for me.
Wow that is nice but explain how to switch from an android to an iPhone app to use for alternative how to switch
Iphone 17 pro max tested android
Thats why i keep a fold and a pro max
W takes
at 15:07 you can still see those green floating circles that i thought was only an issue on iPhone 13 or due to my camera protector. thats disappointing.
Button on different sides was android in 2018 uhum Samsung Galaxy S8/A8 back in 2018
i can feel u btw i did the same and bought the iphone 17 pro
Loving my Samsung S25 Ultra
Do you think it's better than the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max?
@Carlos-ci6joi got both and i felt no different one business one lifestyle
@samyap0809Which one is the best for business?
@howtomen what android phone are you daily driving?
Apple Intelligence is a joke, and most of the time, it doesn’t work for me.
something that is overlooked in comparisons is the support of apps. I bought a Samsung phone and like half a year later devs no longer cared about fixing bugs in apps, like in Instagram, Reddit and others. But I think in Iphone its much more stable.
And a lot of times you get apps that say that this app isn't for your version of android.
The back gestures being all over the place turn me off so instant.
What's your current daily driver/ favourite phone of the year?
Stop saying daily driver instead say main phone current phone primary phone
Still awaiting the creator’s reply 😭
Oh! Crap Shit 😂
those lens flares though!! videos are great apart from that one thing in apple...for photos android phones are better any day
every phone does this
@DonyelleWilliams-l6qevery iphone yes 😂
❤❤❤
no way you too.......maybe you have been using an iphone all this time
Battery life is better than any phone on the market lol
That's a complete lie. One Plus 15 lasts longer.
What about using an alt app store
4:18 true
2:00 modes and routines??
Yes modes and routines on Samsung.
If u love customization, go to android..
Apple pro max is like a budget phone compared to samsung and i have a apple and samsung phone
Is it true that iPhone have only 1 volume slider? That controls all volume? Like if listen music at 20% alarm or ringtone be 20% to? As Samsung have volume sliders for almost everything music volume ringtone alarm system sound 😱
what fresh design? all iphones look alike
I promise you I was thinking 🤔 the sams thing 😂
cannot find those widgets
But you didn't install RUclips ReVanced ☠️
But can he tho?
it's apple. you can't sideload apps.
For me, only this makes already YT impossible to use.
Is it time to make the switch?
I think i'll rather use S25 Ultra....if i can afford it
I'd rather use any of the androids than iphone 😅
@KaelnsLarienFor me it's OnePlus 15😊
Yes, OnePlus 15 next month. Let's go!!
0:48 Which icon pack is that?
I use OnePlus 13, I got an iPhone air and in 2 days im trying to sell it lol
Lol
OnePlus 15 next month bro
@davidbrown6137I know I'll trade the iPhone in
@davidbrown6137OnePlus 15 will be better than Galaxy s26
Why air!😢
Howdya like the screen notch cutout
View count 4951+1 12:15 am IST😮
Androidは戻るボタンで戻ることができるのにクイックパネルでは使えずイラつきます😂
That's a your phone problem. Cause mine can go back from the Quickpanel
@jonbrandjes9024
Pixelだと通知を編集する動作と干渉してできません
Androidなのに端末によって操作が違うのは滑稽です😂
pixel gang
Shit gang
I got the iphone 13 pm and i'm thinking about switching to s25 ultra or going for 17 pm and idk what to do xd
I was in the same boat man. I’ve had so many issues with Apple but decided to try the 17pm and unfortunately the issues are still happening. I will be returning for the S25 Ultra.
2:37 how do i buy the pack? Help
Oneplus charges at 100 watts even in the US, if you have their high end charging brick.
Is it pink?😊
Odio le icone squadrate spero arrivi il giorno in cui si possano mettere pacchetti icone...2 la notch non si può vedere piu.
Sempre più produttori Android stanno copiando la Dynamic Island, quindi è un trend che si diffonderà ancora di piu
* K A P O W ! *
It's a miracle that IOS has survived this long
iMessage and status
@iLuseMy1v1s Blackberry had BBM and status but still died out.
