@@ICrazySkills Well I see these runs as "guides" to new strategies I can adapt to achieve special aims fast, and then return to my normal play-speed. ;)
Awesome speed run! Tried to replicate it a couple times. It keeps attacking random tiles though after the initial fight. How can I force it to "return" north instead? (Also the first tile it attacks - is it random?)
See at 6:40 I capture the frostwurm's home tile? Basically, if you wait for all of your AI friendly units to leave the attacked tile (so it starts to capture your tile), it will ALWAYS return to its hometile to recapture it and then get stuck there. Double check that you are capturing its hometile at the correct time and let me know if you are still having issues :)
@@hscha5935 grats and glad to hear it! Will be getting back into the game for the new year to try the new more consistent CH11 strats so keep an eye out 😃
Did it! Still couldnt manage to get three mines at once. Maybe the moment you start to build is important to AI. Anyway, many thanks! Now I'm gonne go and cry about chapter 8 😂
Yep precisely, the key is in the timing and attack tile staling. It is a very easy and reliable AI exploit for this one (unlike chapter 4 where the AI can be very hit or miss) so should be reproducible :)
I gone full economy mode i found that it only attacks claimed territories... so i mined as much as i could from 1 territory.... it attacked it. I re-claimed it... build my economy... it attacked that zone (few cycles until i maxxed out a lot of things) then power rushed two zones and get everything i needed and an army. It died with 1 casualty
This one was so much easier than i thought it would be lmao first try in about 20 minutes
thanks for the vid !
Haha no worries. indeed once you pull off the trick where the beast won't attack your mines it's very easy
First "guide" I watched, and I´m leaving a sub. Good content! :)
Thanks hope the runs help! Seems like a lot of people use these for guides :D

@@hscha5935 good job man, will have you on the leaderboards in no time. Ah yes, CH8, my most disliked and hated video out of the lot 😂
So the idea is to distract the beast north while still building south, so the beast doesn't interfere with the miners. That's the trick.

this no longer works it has been patched out
i hate this mission brah
It's not too bad if you do the worm exploit so it won't hit tiles
what a dumnbass mission. esp. if you don't exploit.
Yeah it's a bugger! Hopefully this old strategy helped
Not sure it's anywhere near as enjoyable or exploitable now
