this was right after they had a big hit with Stevie's "Higher Ground", in Europe that song really introduced them to the masses... and then came the GiveItAway's and the "Under the Bridge"s, great compositions, real music which gave the band massive popularity worldwide, indeed.
Every sucks on rock now...there is not originality any more...in live concerts people are more interested in filmmimg with the phone than enjoing the moment...actualy in the early 90 this guys where extremly original and weard...so much funk skyn and tatoos for average rockers
Here's my idea of fun. At a major Rock concert... have a big electromagnet hanging over the audience... Turn the magnet on and watch 10,012 fucking iPhones levitate seemingly by magic at 905 MPH! I bet the crying would be louder than the band!
Much older now... And Christina Shutthegate still turns heads & spews pea soup. You ever pee soup? Grohl rhymes with Hole. Ever think of that? The Spitfire... Not Red Hot... It made my zip glow though. FairFax Highest Ground. Were they invented the Fax machine gun. I must have bumped my head a little harder than I thought. I dig The Red Hot Chili Palmer's!...
Here's the irony as Flea talks about Geffen's huge mansion and pool, fast forward to today, turns out Flea is living in a larger mansion with a bigger pool and more money than he knows what to do with! Lol :)
That’s the paradox of any punk rocker that reaches mainstream success. It’s easy to bash capitalism when you have no capitol, yet as soon as you fall into any kind of real money, all that socialistic ideology and the entire “stick it to the man” mantra means f)ck all. The worst part, is that I know that if it were me, and I fell into that kind of money after bashing the wealthy, I would turn into the same thing, I’m human. Nobody fights for a cause they have no personal connection to, until they have to.
@@donthaveaname1086 Yea I just bought a bag of coffee from Green Day's website where you'll see capitalism at full tilt with offerings up the kazoo! Oh, and lest not forget when Duff from Guns n Roses enrolled in finance courses at the local university to learn about investing and the stock market. KISS (Gene Simmons) mentions and praises 70's punk ethos in their early days as being a motivating factor. They're selling out stadiums still after 50 years, Gene sold his Vegas home for 25 million. When you have an art term followed by "business" behind it, that's all it is. They'll say anything and do anything for their business. Then put on a suit and tie for their business meetings. Fairfax High School, I went to school there, unfortunetly just figured out I was in my senior year when they came to the school, went there recently and looks nowhere near different besides the Fairfax High School sign, everything looks the same!!! Good Days
@HellsAngelsofNC At the time I knew Michael, "Flea" in drivers ed but not Anthony. Anthony had a real nice hair cut, no one picked on him. Flea usually picked on other kids.
03:44 looks like the legions of Frusciante wannabes will have to relearn the now infamous "bedroom lick". I wish I could play it! Maybe if we all bust out a helicopter first? Better yet everyone could practice guitar for at least 10 hours a day like JF used to do.

3:06 Mother's Milk was certified gold on late March 1990 so this must have been filmed after that
Oh yeah, reason why I put "some explicit material" in the description.
once upon a time, my country actually showed cool bands on television, do bad almost everything sucks now on TV -.-

it is always that cloudy in L.A. or is it just the camera
its a combination of the pollution, the climate and the height of the hollywood hills thats causing the fog
