You go above and beyond to show all kinds of self-care ideas. This has been one of the hardest years for me in my lifetime, and I don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t take time to do that this past year. Having that reminder that I don’t need to feel guilt when I do need time to rest and unwind has been both liberating and healing for me. Thank you so much, Ken. ☺️❤️🩹
Finally advice that I can apply to my Summer SAD!!! Summer is awful for me. Thank you so much. Wishing you a cozy season, with few symptoms. My daughter shared your channel with me, and it gives me so much joy that we can share it.
Its been a sad season for me and my family so thank you for making this video. Its good to keep our minds away from negativity and think about the good things in life and what you love to do. Life's too short.
Queen of self care. I had an awful nightmare of a day at work today where I felt overwhelmed with anxiety to where I was going to throw up. I got home. Put on my new flannel PJs , turned on my Christmas lights, and have been watching tv since I got home. It’s not productive but it’s what I needed. I wish I had the emotional capacity to dedicate myself to something more meaningful like crocheting or coloring even though. Thanks for the videos. They are so comforting.
SAME!! I have a short talking about this, people have no idea how isolating it is when you’re finally happy that it’s dark at 4pm while everyone else is lamenting and wanting summer back. Spring and summer are when my brain takes a nosedive.
My seasonal depression lamp really helps when I'm not getting enough sunlight. Highly recommend. And I just started learning/doing punch needle and I'm so excited
Foods high in vitamin D, A, K, and magnesium. Comfortable clothes, spending time outside away from electronics, and journaling. I do game, but my games tend to move towards less aggressive games.
💜 but may-sept (used to be aug) are my sad months, I am finally starting to feel alive again (I know I'm in the minority, hope everybody finds ways to keep the worst of the seasonal depression at bay)
Your channel inspired me to get some adult coloring books for myself. The winters are rough here, so more cozy hobbies definitely help. 📚✍️
