Does anyone else think someone played a wrong note in the second chord? It's supposed to be a d-minor triad, and someone's playing a C. Fournier seems to be looking back in surprise.
The other reading with Adrian Bolt and The Philharmonia is better from the orchestra standpoint, although Martinon I heard with Chicago, and it was terrific (Brahms 4th and Prokofieff 5th----that was just Reiner had passed. The ORTF is just ok.
The true and fine art of playing! The great Fournier. Jean Martinon was also an excellent conductor, mainly to French music.

asnothe seems like someone (probably bassoon) came in early since the C fulfils the 3rd chord
Playing like a gentleman.
