I understand all the chaotic things and all, but Whitty really did resist for quite a while. The team really needed to take him down in full force, and to literally rewind time to do it again. Whitty is pretty much a demi-god, he can control fire, can fly, and he is basically a living weapon, and the fact that he can regenerate himself. The more rage he has, the bigger and more powerful his explosion is. He of course, is not like everybody. But what if he finally fully broke out from his corruption around a month or two? So many damn possiblities and i have already thought of one, sad it very likely won't be real. He would literally become nothing but a soul with the never-ending thirst of vengeance. He wouldn't make his same mistakes again. He just wouldn't care of saving Carol, Hex, or BF himself. He would know one thing: Rip and tear. Assuming that his rage was literally just too big at the end of his last stand, the explosion would be so powerful that either BF cannot rewind time anymore, or the planet would be completely destroyed.
