    Great job. I think they would look great spray painted in black or other colours

    I'm impressed you did this without gloves to protect your hands!

    I needed to see how that was made. This is the perfect answer to keep the evil red squires out of my pots. Thanks.

    Thank you Jessica. You can pay $125 for 5 cloches online or buy a roll of chicken wire for $27.50 at HD and make nice ones like these yourself. I made 4 yesterday and had a ball.

    So cute. I love chicken wire but I hate messing with it. I always get poked and scratched by the ends. 😩

    Cute! You mentioned preserving the nest. Is there anything you treated it with to help it last longer?

    • @jessicalynnathome
      @jessicalynnathome  6 лет назад +3

      Fran Bullington thank you for asking! All I did was shake it out a bit and spray it with some home defense to kill and bugs that might be in it and let that dry and then I spray it with a clear coat spray paint and let that dry. Hopefully it will last 😁

    I have always wanted to make one of these, but am too lazy to work with chicken wire, haha. The nest was a great find!

    Cool idea, and you made it without gloves,,that wire can be sharp,,cut me a few times in the garden.
    All the best from Australia

      martysgarden thank you! Yes probably not the smartest idea in the end to not wear gloves 😂 I would definitely wear them next time 😁 Thank you for watching!!! ❤️❤️❤️

    If you left the nest, sometimes if they are real successful, robins will reuse their nest. Not saying this in a derogatory way at all, just might have been fun to watch and see if they would come back. I didn't know if you knew that or not.🙂❤

    thanks for the video. FYI you should be careful handling birds nests. They can make you very sick.
