It's crazy that she said holding in her autism caused her autoimmune disorder, because I have adhd and I had to hold the autism in my entire life, and I have an autoimmune disorder! I can't believe I never considered a connection. And I looove that she's an active artist. She piqued my interest even more now! ❤️❤️

@@MrsRayford16 I didn't. I masked the autism. It's what anyone who has it, but gets beat or in trouble for it, learns to do. You adopt an entire identity for dealing with humans. And that's what I did, but it's exhausting. I loved it for my adhd. But when I was tired I didn't feel like doing it, but had to because that's what "typical" folks expect.

@@reginaldblack8326 Autistic people have certain natural behavioral tendencies that are seen as disrespectful or disruptive for example, wanting to know the reason/logic behind a rule before obeying it. This behavior is forcefully repressed by parents, teachers and sometimes peers through severe physical punishment, verbal abuse or social isolation etc Auto-immune disorders are now being linked to the repression of these autistic traits.

I'm a 90's R&B fanatic I gave up on the genre altogether for years until she came out and im just catching on to this genuisly talented and beautiful phenomenon, she currently singlehandedly holding R&B down .

I believe she used to have vocal nodules that affected her voice. It likely made her voice sound a bit hoarse at times and tires out her voice easily..
