I feel like tajin and pineapple shouldn't really be considered a hack. Eating fruit with chile, lime, and salt is just part of Mexican food culture. We even have street vendors that sell cut fruit with chile and lime. Tajin is just powdered chile, dehydrated lime, and salt
The gagging whilst remembering soggy crisps/chips is taking me TF out 😂😂😂 it's even funnier because not only does she kinda look like my best friend, she even gags exactly the damn same too 😂😂
She's not allergic to pineapple... It has an enzyme called bromelain that breaks down protein which causes burning, itching, or a tingly sensation! So basically while you are eating pineapple it is eating you too!
Pineapple has an enzyme called bromelain. Bromelain is a digestive enzyme that breaks down proteins. Your mouth is full of proteins. So basically, when you eat pineapples, they eat you back!!!!! Lol that's why when you eat too much pineapple your mouth feels tore up!!!!! *The More You Know* 😂
JACK if you're reading this, I say this with LOVE, please go and experience new foods and new flavors especially spicy yet flavorful foods. There is a whole world outside your palate which looks like it can only take sweet things.
Tajin on pineapple is a trend on TikTok? Like everyone just discovered this? Tajin on pineapple has been a popular treat for a long time now. Along with mango, watermelon, cantaloupe and other fruits.
Dude I'm Hispanic and if you don't put tajin on fruit 💀 Tajin and eating just the cool whip as ice cream. The dude who said he thought tajin was spicy made me kinda laugh.
Not me seeing Izzy and thinking who does she looks like and realising she looks so much like she could be Jenna Ortega's elder sis anyone else see some resemblance or is it just me? 😂
The Takis hack makes sense. The Scoville Unit (heat unit for peppers) is loosely based on how much sugar it takes to neutralize the heat - the more sugar needed, the higher the Scoville Unit. So the added sugar (which is already in most chips anyway) will simply make it less hot feeling. Having said that, I'm totally going to try this, even though I love hot peppers.
The best weird combination is curry-flavored noodles (preferably super noodles) and blue cheese (English stilton). Everyone has always looked at me weirdly when I would make this until they tried it 😀
@@nizaru100 I love feta cheese in pasta salads or veggie salads. If I eat it on its own it tastes really gross to me. I don't think bleu cheese would work the same tho lol
...I remember when try not to eat was ended with a punishment.... although the pickle snickers was punishment enough. Individually great, together... no. Also, that one guy seems like cracked black pepper would be too spicy for him.
Whenever Canadians would come to my theatre I would auto go oh we don’t have ketchup flavoring powder when naming out popcorn seasoning. It’s Hilarious to watch their reactions to not being looked at crazy. I also love ketchup chips.
You can still buy powdered ketchup popcorn seasoning! Kernels makes it. My favourite is the all dressed but I also like the dill pickle and white cheddar varieties!
Not tik tok...but something from college days. Taste 2 slices of bread...the spread with peanut butter and sandwich piece of pizza. The warm peanut butter on pizza is so good. Quick college break with all the essential food groups
lol the burning is very normal. anyone who has eaten pineapple knows exactly what she's talking about. disclaimer: maybe not everyone experiences it... but it's still normal. there's a reason behind it. the enzymes (bromelain, which breaks down proteins and is a great meat tenderizer), and raphides are the reason why
Yeah, it's better to err on the side caution when it comes to any kind of allergy, but pineapple contains a chemical that breaks down meat (pineapple juice is used to tenderize meats) so that could be why it feels like it is "burning" the inside of the mouth. Also why you should shake the ketchup is a shear-thinning non-Newtonian fluid.
I usually do paprika and chili powder. I put hot sauce on literally everything though so I might have to try this since I already like it with some spice
I don't know why but Izzy is just such a treat to watch. Usually don't find react shows very entertaining but she is very good!
Jack is a human representation of a word “bland” I swear. 😂😂 I know food tastes are subjective, not everyone gonna like the same thing. But for him anything that has slightly extra flavor is overwhelming😂😂
Every thing in this episode looked straight up nasty, except the pineapple one.
Or maybe I’m just wierd😂
He’s definitely a chicken fingers and fries kinda guy😂
Tajin on pineapple is not a hack. Hispanics been putting tajin on pineapple for ages. We put it on every thing
What's a TAJIN ? sounds VERY FUNNY
Even I know that and I'm not hispanic, nor have I tried Tajin before lol.
Actually, I tried it for the first time last week....amazing 👌
No way Jack said Tajín and Pineapple is nasty but proceeded to tear up some Fritos and peanut butter. Nooooo 😩😭😂

Yes! That's not a hack... Everyone have been doing it all the time lol
It’s similar in my country we have a dip similar to yours except no lime but with sugar & we dip the fruits & eat it too

Pineapple with Tajín is not a “internet food hack” it’s literally a Mexican snack….
It's for people who don't know, but your cultural educational comment is appreciated.
I thought Tajin is Filipino?
@@TryTheBLT Is Mexican, the actual name comes from an archaeological site called "El Tajin" in the state of Veracruz in Mexico
I am about to blow your mind!! TAJIN is also delicious on cucumber, mangoes, apples, oranges, watermelon, Cantaloupe, coconut.. 🤯
Janelle had me cracking up reliving her childhood trauma of soggy potato chips! The relatability of it all lol
This is probably normal but I love Icecream & either French Fries, salty chips or even pretzels combined… such a good combo!
I literally was thinking this the entire time was hoping it would be on here. I love dipping my fries in my milkshake
@@anothergamingchannel2656 100% great combo!
Tajín is literally sold with fruit so it’s not really a hack if it’s normal in the south 😂
“Angel and Jack” the duo we never knew we needed. Lol.
If someone played me just the audio track and told me these two were about to celebrate their Silver Anniversary, I think I would believe them.
Tajin on fruit with lime juice is so fire. And also frozen cool whip taste ice cream 🍦

exactly what i was thinking! such a comfort drink
Warm milk and honey we do here in America too. Puts u to sleep

You expect Jack to like Takis?? The man thinks ketchup is spicy!
Tajin on pineapple is a trend on TikTok? Like everyone just discovered this?
Tajin on pineapple has been a popular treat for a long time now. Along with mango, watermelon, cantaloupe and other fruits.
Tajin on fruit is good! Especially sweet-sour fruit. Semi-ripe or green mangoes are better than ripe mangoes if you pair it with Tajin.
julian and janelle looks like bruno and dolores from encanto 😁 so cute ☺
Angel is a savage beast with that food 😂😂😂
Dude I'm Hispanic and if you don't put tajin on fruit 💀 Tajin and eating just the cool whip as ice cream. The dude who said he thought tajin was spicy made me kinda laugh.
I make a cool whip, strawberry yogurt in a graham cracker pie crust (optional) so yeah I can believe the cool wip and powder is good.
cool whip and vanilla pudding mix
I just mixed that up after seeing this comment and it was excellent!

Have a cinnamon roll with a bowl of chili. A Midwestern school lunch staple.
I've tried the pineapple and Tajin before and it's good.
Popcorn and ketchup is the standard in Mexico hahaha, we also put hot sauce and chamoy
A good way to remove the burn from pineapple is sprinkle with a little bit of salt. It negates the acid in the pineapple.
Jack so dramatic
As a Canadian, ketchup and popcorn is no revolutionary pairing. You used to be able to buy powdered ketchup popcorn flavouring at Blockbuster 🤣

Takis with kool-aid powder instead of sugar!🔥
Cottage cheese, drained crushed pineapple, and mini marshmallows. We used to make it as a snack.
