Because he's actually good. Simple
I think it's just the times. There was an era when this kind of music was a huge part of the music scene. BB King in his day was a big, big name and everyone - especially in America - knew that name and loved his music. Laith's voice is great: it's gritty, strong, and a joy to hear. And, he's a true double threat because his guitar skills are unmatched by anyone today or ever IMO. But, like someone here said, his style is not pop or rap or whatever else, but it is GREAT in every sense of the word. Because of his exposure on The Voice, his career should be a long, satisfying and financially rewarding one. I wouldn't bemoan the fact that he's not at the top of the charts...at least, not just yet.
@@enochbrown8178 Such a pity. There has been many genres over the years but if you're not for the current fad, it's nearly impossible to rise. However, time is timeless and when the rappers of today are gone, these virtuosos are found many times. Even electric guitar may be forgotten but never the raw talent.

For me ,all the songs are fantastic. All the presentations, all the solos. But yeah... White Room... eargasm, however for me, The Thrill is Gone is so fucking amazing, it was perfect in so many levels.
