I can't help you there. I was only answering a question somebody asked me about the SQ11 camera. You might find it easier to use a WiFi enabled camera.
As shown in the video, I used an OTG adapter to plug into my phone to give the USB port that the standard cable supplied with the camera fits. You will find more information in the video description. I had no reason to disassemble the camera to remove the battery so I don't know for sure if it would work without the battery but I would guess it probably does work with the power from the phone.

I know there is a gadget to from FireWire (1394 ) to USB - I wonder if the the phone would read the USB 1394 device, and if it did, what app would capture video, I mean I don't think there is adobe premiere for tables or phones. No you don't need the SD card. If you plug the camera in, with the SD card in place, your computer sees the SD card and NOT the camera. If you leave the SD card out, the computer sees the camera OK. I did have trouble trying to get the sound working. It worked the first time, but after that I couldn't seem to access the cameras microphone. You may find you need a separate microphone if you need to talk.
If you plug the camera in with the SD card in place, then the phone sees it as a memory device and shows you the memory card content. If you then press the OFF button on the camera to switch it OFF, the phone will see it as a camera. I tell you this at 01:00 Alternatively, leave the SD card out. The camera will NOT record to the SD card while you are using it as a USB camera. Sorry, I do understand that English may not be your language, so you might have missed that 👍

If your phone has a slot in it for an extra micro SD card, then you could take the card out of the camera and plug it into your phone to read it. Alternatively, you can buy card readers that will plug into your phones USB port. This camera does NOT have WiFi capability, so you cannot link to it by wireless.

@LakeishaCunningham-um1ik they may be in a format that your video player does not recognise. An old favourite player is VLC, that recognises just about every video format.
I don't use omlet and I don't stream games. From my previous experience with this camera I expect you will have problems with the audio from the camera and may need to use an external mic.
As far as I can tell, that is not an option. When connected to the phone via the USB you are in effect, directly accessing the camera sensor, not any of the features of the camera. Pressing the buttons doesn't seem to have any effect.

@@SoySadgeSauce the point is that there is nothing special about this camera. I bought it because it is small enough to put on my model planes/cars/boats and somebody asked if it could be connected to a mobile phone so I bought the OTG adapter to plug it into the phone and downloaded the first app that came up on Google play. Any camera that works as a webcam should work but you will probably have problems getting the audio to work with it.
Do you have an SQ8? If you have, just try it and find out. The app is free. The app just recognises UVC devices and webcams in the same way that your computer would. Maybe try your camera on a PC first to check it works. Many of the cheap clones have faults. I had an SQ8 once that never worked properly. The camera does not have a wireless option. You may be able to fit an external wireless module, but that would probably cost more than the camera and you would be better off buying a camera that already has a wireless facility.
Not much I can do to help if you don't know what you've got. If it has a USB port, you can try connecting it to your computer. If it has S-video connectors then you will need an adapter.
I don't have one of those, so I don't know. I do know that most of the Apps I downloaded didn't work anyway. SO maybe try a different App. I recently tried an App called nExt Camera and that seemed to work better for my SQ11 than the one I used in this video.
I found most of the Apps I tried were unreliable, so I suggest try another App. You might want to check that the cable is good too as one of the cables I had was faulty. Finally, there are so many clones of the camera you may or may not have a good one. I have two and they look identical but they are not the same. I just found my original instruction leaflet and all it says is "Interface type: Mini 8Pin USB"

If you plug it into your laptop it should recognise it as a generic camera device.
