  • Deep drop bottom fishing in Hawaii to catch fish that live at 900' deep. When the fishing is slow its slow, but when the bite is hot you better be ready. We travelled over 110 miles and did a 30 hour fishing trip! Nothing but good times and good laughs!

    Nice catch! You should try going during full moon, I get a lot of quick action at night during full moon 👍 and for onagas try going during the other moon phases like first and third quarter. Hope this helps you man 🤙🏼

      JO for sure. You are always moments away from the bite turning on. Most people give up before it happens. 🤙

      I was letting my friend help me with the filming. We definitely missed some red fish shots 😂🤣😂. I told him about it today. Yeah Henry is pretty good with the Gyotaku. When he had more free time he used to do it a lot before. 🤙

    Curious what your fuel bill is like to go that far out, and is it worth it? Oh, and that lure you mailed me this week looks killer!

    • @808G8GT
      @808G8GT Год назад +2

      I would estimate about $150-200 based when I go out approx that far. If you catch one good sized yellow fin, it will cover you gas with extra money. Of course, you win some, you lose some.
      But all in all, you cant put a price tag on doing something you love.

      Cost me 100$ for 23 gallons. That trip i burned 60 gallons total. With ice and everything it was about a 300$ trip. Market was flooded so price was terrible. But we were still able to make a little money after covering expenses. 🤙
