Written by Virginia Woolf. Adapted by Sarah Ruhl. Directed by Max Webster. A time travelling gender-swapping comedy that romps across continents and centuries.
I watched this play on 6/03/14 I have never been to The Royal Exchange before and this was an amazing play to see. The actors and actresses were fantastic and I fell in love with Orlando.
A note from the LGB community, many still find 'queer' an offensive term and don't consider themselves that. And note that Orlando was always a woman, her sex was female, her gender so-called masculine and feminine stereotypes but it was always a woman Virginia Woolf was in love with--the attraction was same-sex.

This woman I appreciate her so much. Just a note to my fellow queer folks, yes Suranne is straight, please don't shame her she's a great ally.
