Technically, there were more gods on Olympus, in the book, when Percy gets there, but Percy doesn't really get to speak with anyone besides Zeus and Poseidon. *AND* they changed it so the deadline passed & the war was starting, in the show; it made sense that Zeus would be the only one on his throne, in that moment~ If I remember right, Percy actually didn't even really meet Hermes or Hephaestus in the first book either, right?~ So, we actually got to speak with *more* gods, in the show compared to the book, I think~~~?
Season 2 is confirmed! And you will see many more Gods and mythological creatures in the next seasons, we have 5 books and then next ones in this universe
It's funny that they think the war is next season because if that was true then the series would be 2 books long instead of the 20 plus books right now lol
I really loved your reaction! About the true form thing. Gods true form is a golden light that humans cannot see or they will get incinerated. This happened to Dionysus's mother that was tricked by Hera. Then, Semele (Dionysus's mother) made Zeus show her his true form, killing her in the process. The necklaces are given to all the campers, once you complete a year at camp, they give you an accesory. Annabeth and Luke both have 5 beads each because both stayed at camp for 5 years. At the end, Percy has one bead because he stayed at camp one summer. The reason why the gods stay with mortals and have demigods it is actually kind of explained in the last book by Dionysus, so we won't see an explanation to that until last season (unless writers move that part for a previous season like they did with Luke's mother explanation, but it is something that's coming if the writers include it)
How they look and act (the gods) is in reflection of the society they currently reside in. That's why Zeus is the epitome of America in both personality and style lol.
Pan is the Greek god of the wild. Some myths describe him as an ancient, primordial god, others say he was a son of Hermes. Grover explains in episode 4 that Pan went missing thousands of years ago (a sailor heard a call across the water from the island of Paxi saying "tell them that the great god Pan is dead"), and the saytrs (devotees of course of the wilderness) refused to believe it and have been searching for him ever since. It's a pretty big deal in subsequent books in this series. As for your question regarding demigod lives, they're mortal, just like regular humans. Some demigods have been made gods (usually by Zeus), such as Dionysus and Hercules, but most die, just as normal people do, and end up in the Elysium Fields (the part of the Underworld reserved for heroes and truly good people).
Pan is the god of Nature. He is not Grover's uncle. Ferdinand is Grover's uncle. Ferdinand was turned to stone by Medusa in episode 3. In the casino he said he found Uncle Ferdinand not Pan.
Also the one of the reasons the war in kicked off ww2 because some of the demigods were leaders of those of country’s and were children’s of the big three
Yeah the moment he was thinking of from Black Sails was as you said. flint was tied to a chair and Silver was trying to escape with him. There were two men in the room that Silver had to fight. Flint told Silver go for one of them and Silver asked why. Flint said cause the one he picked had less scars which meant he had probably been in less fights. Silver says he didnt think he’d had to fight. Flint yells “THE FUCK’D YOU THINK WAS GONNA HAPPEN!?”
Oh youll find out in season 2 Grover searching for Pan 😂 Movie 2 isnt even a clffnote to book 2 & what well see in season 2 If anything read book 1 or audiobook it
you don’t have to watch the movies because us fans of the books and the author himself HATE them. he literally begged them not to make the movie when he saw the script. they are that bad. we don’t claim them and just act like this is the first tv adaptation of the books. but if you really want to watch them keep in mind that they are not book accurate at all. first one is at least enjoyable if you haven’t read the books but the second one is a total disaster.
Same I’m such a Grover defender til the end I relate to him so much it’s sad to see some hate on him (also I love how aryan portrays him too it’s like exactly how I imagined while reading)
You said you had a bad feeling about Luke but yet all season you preferred Luke over grover lol. I know everyone has their own opinions but I absolutely adore grover
LOOKING FOR THESE COMMENTS with reactions to this show it seems people like him more than they should, that shows how the writers I feel really watered down how terrible he was so it would fit a Disney narrative tbh. I’m worried they’re gonna do that with other parts in future seasons so it seems less bad. Like Gabe in the show just seemed annoying step father but in the books he’s physically abusive to Percy and I think they referenced him physically abusing sally as well (may be wrong) but it’s upsetting to see how Disney spinned it to make it more kid friendly. Also also the crusty scene and how he knew he was evil off the bat I guess they couldn’t show the gruesome like fight i guess but yeah. Don’t get me wrong I adoreee the show I just hope they improve on that aspect more in future seasons
I would only watch the first movie it’s not very book accurate but it’s okayish but the second movie is horrible doesn’t follow the plot at all and tries to fit like 3 books into like an hour and a half
It’s not because of the budged that we didn’t see more gods, it’s because they are following the books, we will only see more gods in season 3z
Most part of the things that you criticized/commented in the end, were not presented yet because they only happens in the next books/seasons.
And just commenting but the movies are very very bad, they are considered one of the worst adaptations of books from history.

@@toriecarter2711 Yes, precise comment my friend, I didn’t totally explained it. But we only see the full council in book 3.

beads* not pearls

I love how he instantly realized it was a set up when percy and luke were talking about the prophecy at the end , and tried not to spoil it

Sad about no Black Sails. Great show. Just dont understand how it doesnt get more love and views on reaction shows.

Do the Adam Project it's Walker Scobell's (Percy) first acting role ,with Ryan Reynolds.
you guys would enjoy watching supernatural together i think
Lots of these characters are for even farther in the books , for future seasons
Y’all should really glance the books real fast

The grover hate is sad. In my opinion he has had his important moments as well and isn't that bad of a character
Same I’m such a Grover defender til the end I relate to him so much it’s sad to see some hate on him (also I love how aryan portrays him too it’s like exactly how I imagined while reading)

Demigods are mortal depending upon how the mythology works
only Zeus, Ares, Poseidon, and Hades are in book 1
Ares as well.
@@charlottemarks8881 ah yeah
Dionysus too. I forget he’s a god sometimes 😂
You said you had a bad feeling about Luke but yet all season you preferred Luke over grover lol. I know everyone has their own opinions but I absolutely adore grover
If you wanna explore Greek mythology more, the Clash/Wrath of the Titans movies would make good movie reactions I think
watch the black phone
Really hated how they held back on how bad and abusive Gabe was in the books. Really makes that last scene feel undeserved

💙
Por favor não vejam o primeiro filme 😅
