Herald Price Fahringer was probably one of the top civil libertarian lawyers of all time. A great man who knew that defending a performatively sleazy man like Al Goldstein meant defending all of us.

Sadly, Robert Morgenthau outlived Al Goldstein by almost six years, and Robert even managed to die only ten days before his 100th birthday. Hopefully, Al is kicking Robert's ass in the afterlife, if there is one.
