Possessing an impressive range of talents coupled with infinite curiosity, Quincy Brown effectively executes across such disciplines as music, tech, fashion and film/television with ease.
Whether it’s in a recording studio, on the runway or a red carpet, this millennial, better known by his mononym Quincy, is proving to be a memorable rule breaker for the ages. Never satisfied with the status quo, this innovative young tycoon continues to captivate his audience whether he’s in front of or behind the camera.
While breaking into film on the coming-of-age drama, Brotherly Love, Quincy went on to capture the hearts of many for his memorable role in the 2015 Cannes and Sundance Film Festival darling, Dope, so it’s no wonder that he proceeded to create a cult-like following as a regular on FOX’s hit television series, Star, by Lee Daniels.
Acting opposite screen royalty, Queen Latifah, it was here that he cultivated his portrayal of Derek Jones into a character mainstay from his debut in 2016 until the 2019 series finale and it was this very role that has led to his next acting endeavor; starring in 50 Cent’s upcoming Power prequel series, STARZ Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
After working on his music for over a decade, he takes his cultivated sounds and will release his first EP in 2020.

Quincey’s is a cool and laidback humble kid. Reason why I say this because I worked on the show Star’s last season and to me, not that I know him or talked to him but other than what’s up! He seem down to earth. It’s funny because I seen him in a Department shopping with his roll dog and he had a hoodie on his head and nobody knew or realized who he was in line paying for his stuff. That alone shows you because he could’ve had somebody else do it for him with out a problem. Thought o put it out there peace!👌🏽
