Thank you for posting this! I’ve been in almost constant pain and discomfort for about a year and a half. Doctors can’t seem to pinpoint exactly what is wrong or what to do to fix it. I have been praying that God would heal me so I can enjoy my teenagers while they are still in high school. I don’t want to miss out on more than I already have with them because of this pain. I’m hoping daylight will come sooner rather than later.

When we finally arrived we were hit with many unexpected issues and felt into despair. Through God we understood that we are never alone no matter what is happening in this fallen world. It reminds me of a few years ago when I was going through some pretty serious anxiety about my health and the Lord put on my heart to “embrace” the situation I was in and when I did, I felt His peace finally. He taught me that I was clinging to and loving my own life and comfort more than the Father. Not that I’ve got it all figured out it’s a process for sure. Your channel is so encouraging sister. I'm glad I found your channel. The message you shared is very powerful. I'll keep you in my prayers. I've been going through a lot lately. My husband cheated on me with his eyes. Found out he had been doing things. I've been so broken. His words hurt deeply. He was comparing me to these women and the enemy had him believing lies . It hindered my prayer life for a while. All I could do was cry when I went to pray . I would ask the Lord what do I do if he doesn't want a wife that chooses Holiness. In this time I made terrible decisions. That I cry even now as I type this . I cut my beautiful hair and dyed it. I put on makeup. None of it made me feel better. Only a million times worse. I didn't know I was going to write all of this.. But I just wanted to share that the Lord was showing me about the whole heart. It's about our whole heart. I asked for forgiveness for what I've done. He has been opening scripture to me. I know the sunrise is coming. Please lift my little family up in prayer. We also have 3 beautiful children . Thank you again for your encouragement.
I have watched your videos since the beginning of the Philia channel, the sisterhood, Little House on the Mountain... over the last few years with lockdowns and way too much time to think, the enemy came in for a visit and completely broke my spirit. Everything from the past came like an explosion in my face (things I had buried for self-preservation), and deep depression set in so heavy that I couldn't even pray or read the word. I wasn't watching your videos or anything else uplifting for that matter during that time, and it seemed that all that came my way was heavy negative news and darkness. Not having many friends, having also been hurt in the church, I am very cautious with who I spend time with and 99% of the time its spent with my husband and dogs. It's been a long season of utter isolation and void within me. I'm making my way back but now feel as though I am starting all over in my walk with Him and honestly it feels very fragile. Your channel popped into my mind, and I logged in this afternoon and found this video. It felt as though a good friend called and knew exactly how to minister to my hurting soul. Thank you, so very much. I am so grateful for you and James, for your channel, and all of the honesty and sweetness through your love for the Lord. This is beautiful and really resonates with me today. I, too, have been dealing with pain this week. My week has felt pretty icky because I opened a door back up in my mind, with my mouth, voicing control, and it all wrecked havoc in my relationships all week... despite my praying and asking the Lord to forgive me. It took awhile to feel it lift off of me. When I stay meek and quiet and take everything to the Lord in prayer, there is PEACE. Bless you, sister, and Brother James too! ❤️🙏
Oh this video and your reminder was such a God thing. There has been such pain in my life lately (not physical but relational) and I just led our VBS through processing some pretty bleak news. But I swear, every time the worship came on, every time the kids said the Bible verse, it was like that pain kept getting pushed smaller and smaller! It’s still there and I have some things to work through still but I’m determined to praise my way through it. My husband will bust out his guitar and sing worship and I have it playing constantly. That’s how we fight our battles! I’m praying God covers you Lea in the midst of your pain and his Love sustains you until the dawn breaks!!

Beautiful thoughts... totally understand the praising through the pain. We have had a couple dark weeks here as well with the flooding in St Louis...many including us have lost thousands of dollars worth as well as many lost their home here as well as they did in KY...we will be cleaning our home months to come but through it all...we have seen His hand working out all the details of moving forward. Please pray that we can be a help within our community to the ones who are displaced still. And we can get the water out of our home as well as the mold. My husband cheated on me with his eyes. Found out he had been doing things. I've been so broken. His words hurt deeply. He was comparing me to these women and the enemy had him believing lies . It hindered my prayer life for a while. All I could do was cry when I went to pray . I would ask the Lord what do I do if he doesn't want a wife that chooses Holiness. In this time I made terrible decisions. That I cry even now as I type this . I cut my beautiful hair and dyed it. I put on makeup. None of it made me feel better. Only a million times worse. I didn't know I was going to write all of this.. But I just wanted to share that the Lord was showing me about the whole heart. It's about our whole heart. I asked for forgiveness for what I've done. He has been opening scripture to me. I know the sunrise is coming. Please lift my little family up in prayer. We also have 3 beautiful children . Thank you again for your encouragement.

I have watched your videos since the beginning of the Philia channel, the sisterhood, Little House on the Mountain... over the last few years with lockdowns and way too much time to think, the enemy came in for a visit and completely broke my spirit. Everything from the past came like an explosion in my face (things I had buried for self-preservation), and deep depression set in so heavy that I couldn't even pray or read the word. I wasn't watching your videos or anything else uplifting for that matter during that time, and it seemed that all that came my way was heavy negative news and darkness. Not having many friends, having also been hurt in the church, I am very cautious with who I spend time with and 99% of the time its spent with my husband and dogs. It's been a long season of utter isolation and void within me. I'm making my way back but now feel as though I am starting all over in my walk with Him and honestly it feels very fragile. Your channel popped into my mind, and I logged in this afternoon and found this video. It felt as though a good friend called and knew exactly how to minister to my hurting soul. Thank you, so very much. I am so grateful for you and James, for your channel, and all of the honesty and sweetness through your love for the Lord. Thank you for not giving up, for refusing defeat and for all that you do. This is beautiful and really resonates with me today. I, too, have been dealing with pain this week. My week has felt pretty icky because I opened a door back up in my mind, with my mouth, voicing control, and it all wrecked havoc in my relationships all week... despite my praying and asking the Lord to forgive me. It took awhile to feel it lift off of me. When I stay meek and quiet and take everything to the Lord in prayer, there is PEACE. Bless you, sister, and Brother James too! ❤️🙏

Oh this video and your reminder was such a God thing. There has been such pain in my life lately (not physical but relational) and I just led our VBS through processing some pretty bleak news. But I swear, every time the worship came on, every time the kids said the Bible verse, it was like that pain kept getting pushed smaller and smaller! It’s still there and I have some things to work through still but I’m determined to praise my way through it. My husband will bust out his guitar and sing worship and I have it playing constantly. That’s how we fight our battles! I’m praying God covers you Lea in the midst of your pain and his Love sustains you until the dawn breaks!!

Beautiful thoughts... totally understand the praising through the pain. We have had a couple dark weeks here as well with the flooding in St Louis...many including us have lost thousands of dollars worth as well as many lost their home here as well as they did in KY...we will be cleaning our home months to come but through it all...we have seen His hand working out all the details of moving forward. Please pray that we can be a help within our community to the ones who are displaced still. And we can get the water out of our home as well as the mold. Have a blessed Sabbath and know you and James are in our prayers.
In the darkness and pain on the cross, Christ said it is finished. Victory is His, and sinners saved by grace will see His glory and be glorified. The light is His astounding holiness, and one day we will be in heaven free of sin and its pain. Thank you for posting. God bless you and keep you.
