As someone who lives with a mental condition, kendrick's music is relatable and therapeutic at the same time. He's one of the artists that I feel actually feels what I feel and that gives me the sense that I'm not alone. That feeling means a lot to me because there's always a part of me that feels out of place and alone in the world.
I really wish they had tagged the final “Miss Regrets I believe you have done me wrong. Miss Regrets will you please exit out my home…?” on the end. Absolutely in love with that last stanza. This freaking song. Some of my favorite lyrics from any genre.
