The guy in the overalls is an old friend of Rob and the overalls themself make another appearance in "Champagne Taste (On A Beer Budget)", an original written by Tim (before he joined Home Free). The overalls still had it's legs, though.

Rob's musical whistling is just remarkable! 😙 And watching Tim do the beatboxing as he harasses Rob when Adam does the dj scratching is hilarious 😆
Eric "Buegs" Buegler is one of Rob's good friends. His short overalls is a reference to Maddie & Tae's video called "Girl in a Country Song". Check it out--makes Buegs' antics here even funnier 🤣

You guys did not disappoint with this reaction! The overalls guy is Eric Beugs, a good friend of Rob’s. He’s obviously a very funny and outgoing guy. He and Rob have a movie podcast canned Avid Indoorsmen. They have guests on their podcast sometimes. Anyway, this is one of their best funny videos. There is another oldie when Chris was with them. It’s “Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget”, which is an original from Tim pre-Home Free. The video is pretty funny. I would suggest some others you may like: A new cover of Don McClean’s “Vincent” with the man himself singing with them (again). It an excellent video and re-make! Also, check out Home Free’s cover of Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me”. It’s my favorite cover of theirs! You guys are hilarious!
You should check out ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’, ‘I Can’t Outrun You’, ‘Yours’, ‘Fishin’ In The Dark/Down In The Boondocks Medley’, Wake Me Up’, ‘SOLD’ ‘How Great Thou Art’ so many great songs to hear.

The guy in the overalls, Beugs, is Rob's co-host in their movie review/contest podcast The Avid Indoorsmen. So much fun to listen to.
Chris Rupp did a BTS review of this. His sister worked as a booker for a modeling agency and helped with the casting call for this. It was important to all of the band members that they not objectify the women. If they were going to show posterior portions, it would be the men. They also ran super late and had to let the models go home so they ended up filming the sections of just them dancing. I think it was better for that.

The musicality of this piece is so underrated. The song opens with them singing Trace Adkins over the BB Got Back bass line - and then adding in Wiggle Wiggle. In counterpoint. This is extremely ridiculously brilliant and unfairly awesome and nobody notices because, well, butts.
Love this so much! It was so unexpected when it first came out. They can make you dance, cry and fall out of your seat laughing. Thanks for the Home Free reactions.

Ogre, Chris did a breakdown/reaction of the song and he mentioned that they specifically used their own butts in the song because they didn't want to sexualize women any more than they already are. It was their way of showing respect to the fairer sex.

The gentleman in the overalls, Beugs, is a singer and friend of Rob and the group itself. While he does have a total lack of shame, as you could see in the video, he didn't have the overalls lying around. These were used before in a different video (Champagne Taste) and Tim wore them, with the full legs. With Tim being considerable taller and thinner compared to Beugs they had to be adjusted accordingly for him to fit into.
Layne from VP helped the Rupps arrange this one. The boys were featured because they didn’t want to objectify the women. Did you catch Tim EATING the ham sandwich. The guy in the “Jerzey getup” is a friend of Rob’s (they have a podcast called “The Avid Indoorsman”).

Great reaction, I knew by his face the second Ogre saw Rob's friend. Those are the same overalls that Tim was wearing in Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, I can't remember what part he played, but Geoff of Voice Play helped create this one.

Proves that butt songs are in all genres. Also, Layne from Voiceplay helped the Rupps in this arrangement which is pretty cool. In an interview Chris Rupp (black cowboy hat) said this was his pet project. His sister had worked with a modeling agency and that's where most of the women were from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women, the only 'butts' are theirs. The man in the one-shoulder overalls is "Beugs", who co-hosts on Rob Lundquist's podcast "The Avid Indoorsman". Austin choreographed the line dance.
The bloopers at the end were funny, you should watch them.

Ogre was a nerdy Weird Al fan back in the beginning. He was referencing polkas that Al did. Some them were medleys.
@weaintraisedrightpodcast Good point. I think the HomeFree guys are nerdy Weird Al fans too. They've mentioned Al and his songs over the years. Even before they got introduced to Al by Don McLean in 2021.

The BUTTS Medley. Awesome song. BUT I hate the many, MANY people that call this song The BUTTS Remix. But, even Austin says remix at the end. Great Post, fellas.
