Lemme tell y’all a true story. About 4 years ago I was lookin into up and coming artist to get some features. I contacted 2kthagoon ,chxpo,trippie red, la gooney chonga,& Dylan Ross I believe. Surprisingly they all got back to me with genuine enthusiasm except 2k . The least popular of them all . Mind you I never had heard even 1 of 2ks songs at this time but I saw his name circulating online which lead to the inquiry.So he responds to me “WHAT” after I say what’s up in a irritated manner. I was like boy who tf you think you are? I’m trying to put money in your pocket but ok I’ll just write a dis track for yo ass. He said go ahead you’ll only get 19 views like all your other songs . I said “bet “ so I recorded it off my phone in terrible quality named it “Fuck2kthagoon” and uploaded it anyway because I was bummy 🤷🏾♂️ . It literally got 19 plays just like he said . I took 1 last look at my phone that night and went to sleep with the number 19 drilled in my mind. I woke up and looked and it had jumped to 250 plays (at the time this was a lot for my account ) . Someone had reposted it and it got some traction from there . People have debated that to this day this is the greatest song I ever made despite its fuzzy quality & begged me to re record it . This lead to a back and forth with myself and 2k on Twitter until he reported me for “bullying” him . Which got my account locked forever. Forever making 2kthagoon my worst enemy in music . He’s a big motivating factor to keep getting better and better for me so I kind of like our beef.
