I genuenly only started having fun when i switched to lance. my god. just absorbing all those monster hits and not dodging, standing up to the monster feels soo good.
Optimal combo during topples is triple poke > dash attack then cancel immediately to finishing thrust. Also, I prefer using impact mantle for lance since you'll be poking the monster's head all the time.
Pro Tips: I think you will get faster If remove partbreaker and use handicraft decorations instead for consistent DPS. Nice Lancing fellow Lancer~ 🪛ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ🛡️
I just watched some longsword and greatsword vids and thought lance could never be as good as them, and you proved me wrong. Thing is, weapons other than lance are very hard to learn because monsters keep running around and hurting you real bad. Do you think I should stick with the lance or learn some other weapons while I'm still arguably new to the game? Amazing fight by the way, subbed :)
Thank you so much bro! For my recommendation, you should choose main weapon and secondary weapon to play in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne . Because some weapon are really hard to play against some monsters so at least has a secondary weapon that might be alternative way to hunt against that annoying monster would be great. Also, you should focus on the main weapon you using to be more familiar and be an expert asap (you shouldn't switch between weapon that often).
Hello bro and thanks for your suggestions. I decided to main longsword because it is both super cool and good, while having lance as a secondary because like you said, some monsters dont even let you breathe so you need to be as defensive as possible. Hope to be as good as you one day@@jami350n2
Im going to try replicate this build since im stuck at raging brachy special assignment. Been 2 days now, ive tried lbg and shield hbg and still unable to pass through that mf
Tool specialist is useless in this, and partbreaker is unnecessary as is recovery up (you shouldn't be taking enough damage to need that). You can also swap legs out for velkahana y+ for lv 3 peak performance. Handicraft would be good because sharpness is a HUGE damage multiplier (purple vs blue is about the same as critting vs not critting on every hit).

Couldn't agree more
no fancy move, just block, and poke

when you say dash cancel to finishing thrust, you mean to just fo FT from dash or is there some additional cancel input required?
@@dlvarcade9729 press triangle, Y or mouse 1 immediately after dashing to cancel immediately and perform finishing thrust.

Not a perfect run, however, you handle emergency pretty good with lance, it's an amazing run.
Thank you. I’m still Lance amateur, yet still a lot of practice needs to be done.
