My brother is a truck driver and I bought him one of these to help see the air line connections and so forth on his rig and he was blown away by this flashlight. I dont think he's ever had anything nicer than a mag lite so he just goes on and on about how great the O light is.
Anytime someone describes something as "aero space aluminum alloy" you know they are a shill trying to sell you. Its 6061 aluminum, the most common manufacturing material for e verything.
Some Olight paints are just paints, not embedded into the aluminium material. I chiped a very small portion of a White (body) of a Seeker4Pro droping it from a very small hight (35cm probably) on a plastic surface.
I’m so happy with this light. It’s everything they say . Keep it on you and use it . The battery last a long time . If you accidentally drop it … keeps working.
The Nightcore MH12 is my pick if you want crazy distance on the beam and lots of functions such a beacon mode and SOS mode plus memory for what you were last using.
These lights are incredible! I don't have the Warrior 3s because I'm waiting for the Warrior 4 to be released and hope it has the new improved tailswitch and a metal sideswitch 🙂
@@survivalgearofficialmy fenix pd35 v3 actually has more candela and throw…. Big but!! The Olight warrior 3S I now have has a better overall beam and larger hotspot at the sacrifice of fewer candela. So all in all I prefer the 3S over the pd35 v3 it is that good! I love this light!!!
I have a Baldr pistol light. I wanted the Streamlight TLR 7A but I got the Baldr during one of Olight's Flash Sales for 40% off. It works pretty well but I'd like one that isn't rechargeable as well so I'm gonna grab a TLR 1 or 7.
I rlly love this flashlight yet there is one and one only disadvantage imo the MAGNETIC SWITCH im a welder u can imagine how the back of my w3s looks 🤣
yeah.... I work in construction as well. And the magnetic backs are a con for me. I love having it for EDC day to day sort of stuff. But when you do blue collar work, the magnetic back is just a hassle. It attracts too much metal shavings/dust into it
I haven’t got any issues with mine. On the other hand I used it just for a couple of days, during the review period …. so can’t say how it will behave long term.
Mine takes heavy abuse and I think all the marks look badass. Adds character. The only issue I have is metal shavings like to stick to the magnetic button, for whatever reason the light will flicker on when this happens
Customer support is as ordinary as it gets. Try returning a limited edition colourway under warranty. They can't fix it and send you a generic black version.
I just saw a Skilhunt with 3 different temperature leds on RUclips and if you want a worklight, Fenix CL28R come with adjustable temperature and lumens output, too. Its awesome.
Yea my thrunite tc15 does pretty much all of this at the same brightness except the rear switch. And working in a welding facility I can not have a magnet unless I want a ball of dust attached to my light. I only know this because my iPhone camera gets like this within an hour or 2.
The Olight Warrior 3S is kind of a bad joke, turbo only last 2.5 minutes? Yes, the 2300 turbo only last 2.5 minutes on a fully charged battery, if you need turbo a second time you’ll get 1 minute of runtime. No third time until you recharge and top-off the battery. After 2.5 minutes turbo steps down to a 800lm high mode for additional 166 minutes but.. 800lm high has a greenish tint that really unpleasant! I’ve got a 10 year old Eagtac D25LC2 that runs at 1374 lumens for 1.5hrs that’s smaller and outperforms the Warrior 3S..
Has OLight sorted out the issue with the issue with metal in your pocket (keys, coins, etc...) touching the charging circle and shorting out? Try it, touch your OLight tail cap with something metal connecting the center to the ring. It will probably create a small spark which is bad enough and it will short out the switch requiring it to be removed and replaced to reset. There is no way I can depend on OLight as an edc or defense light if I have to remove and replace the tail cap to get it to turn on. When they fix that problem with their lights I might buy another one
My mini 2 still turns on by itself outside of my pocket at times. The ones with the flat tailcap i bet are legit. If it wasnt magnetic, it would be perfect. That magnet is nice, but not with the major con. Warrior mini 2 design only bridges with small metal shavings, as the original warrior mini did it with anything metal.
The Apple iPhone of flashlights & that's NOT a good thing. Any company that uses proprietary hardware AND refuses to disclose the LEDs used in the flashlight, RUN FROM THEM.
As a tactical light on a rifle or shotgun, I wouldn't want this particular model. All of those 'helpful' green indicator lights on the side switch will only be helpful to those out to get you.
Single biggest problem with all tactical flashlights is never the flashlight itself but rather the batteries. The male terminal on all batteries are soft metal which easily dimples or deforms during vigorous handling. The bad connection causes the current to not flow & people often mistake the battery as being prematurely dead. Very easy to engineer terminal connectors to allow for that yet NOBODY ever does. Begs the question, do companies not torture test their products for quality control anymore?

I have a warrior mini 1 from years ago and that thing is still my favorite flashlight - just upgraded to this one can't wait to try it out
Anytime someone describes something as "aero space aluminum alloy" you know they are a shill trying to sell you. Its 6061 aluminum, the most common manufacturing material for e verything.
the anodization is very bad on Olights, its scratching very easy.
Thats what i am wondering thanks
So it can't fly? 😔

Idk man, 3 years since i gave my dad a warrior x turbo for the ranch and still looking like the first day

Olight have a lot of great flashlight with good price. Actually i've 2x Odin, 2x Odin Mini and 3x Mini-Valkyrie.😎
Indeed their flashlight lineup is comprehensive.
I agree, I have it on my rifle with a tactical switch
I like it a lot… especially the OD Green version that I have :)
I have 3 Olight flashlights and I am very pleased with them
Olight is definitely one of the best flashlight manufacturers. Lover their products!

I use Olight and had no issues as of yet
This is my 2nd Olight flashlight and I will buy soon a thrower. Really like their flashlights
How do you put it into Tactical mode ? Tail switch half press full turbo full press strobe...

Olight warrior 3s is shining more brightly in my eyes because of his amazing review.❤❤
My favorite light
I think this will be my duty light! Does it come with the nylon holster? Wasn’t too clear on their site
Yes!
I'm curious if these new lights are EMP proof
GR8 Rev. ! Love mine (OD Green as well) ! BTW, just subscribed!
There are interesting discounts on their e-shop, so I wanted to buy a warrior mini 3, but unfortunately they only ship within the US 😞
Can this be mounted on an AR?
I need a have two of the larger warrior flashlights but can't find a open holder for it for duty use. ???
Such a great review 👍👍
Thanks for the positive feedback!!
I have the same flashlight and like it a lot.

Isnt a 5ft drop not that insane?
Very well done.
I own a couple of olight flashlights. The magnetic charging connection is terrible. Other than that they're decent lights.
Olight makes great flashlight but the Warrior 3s has some issues with the paint coming off very easily.
I haven’t got any issues with mine. On the other hand I used it just for a couple of days, during the review period …. so can’t say how it will behave long term.
This flashlight is anodized which isnt paint
Mine came off also but because I dropped it several times 😂 warrior 3 mini ...

I nought this 2 months ago and it is the best light i have ever owned battery lasts a long time very far throw
Why did they take off the spikes??
How long can it stay on 2300 lumens continuously ?
2.5 minutes.

It gets hot fast on turbo.
Is there a flashlight which has cool and warm light ?

@@survivalgearofficial I am definitely not knocking the build quality of olight. I own a freyr and a javelot 2 pro. Both very well built lol.
@user-mk5rs2kc8c and what you just left out, my thrunite will use any normal 18650 so a battery that dies in 7 years will be replaced

They solved that problem about 5+ years ago by changing their circuit and adding a 1 way diode, so current cant come out of the tailcap.
