It’s 2021 and me and my sister still play this a fair amount for nostalgia, she was in elementary now high school, and I was in freshman year of high school and now college.
for 3.0 onwards, if they used the formula for characters/power discs/playsets that the original pc version of the game used instead of copying skylanders again (and the base allowing 1.0/2.0 stuff to be unlocked using the toys so they don't have to be unlocked again in the game), it would probably still be around because they wouldn't have to blow their production budget making lots of toys. also it would be nice to have the characters/power discs/playsets being unlocked with blue sparks instead of being dlc, but that wouldn't really happen since the pc version used dlc.

I got this game in Christmas good times my little cousins still play this game since their small ones but I always remember the first time when I got this game.. never understood why they would cancel furthermore but this game brought so many good memories and good times definitely holds a special place in my heart and childhood ❤️ good times when I was a kid and this game

It is sad seeing it go, since there was so much potential for more amazing figures, seeing all that concept art and animation from what was about to come really saddens me as all that hard work was put to waste. Whatever Disney does with video games now, w e will have to wait and see

Boba inherited his father’s battle armor his ship Slave I which was a Firespray Police Prototype one of six manufactured for the Republic Maximum Security Asteroid Prison of Oovo IV which Jango stole when his ship that belonged to his mentor who recruited him into the Mandalorians after his parents were killed by the Death Watch was destroyed.
Something I’m really curious is if Disney infinity was never canceled, how would it be brought over to the Nintendo switch? Also this game would’ve been so much better if they brought James Cameron’s avatar characters put something confused me, is James Cameron’s avatar owned by Disney? I know it’s on Disney+, but is it really owned by Disney?

Most direct references to later characters like ones from Alice and the Looking Glass and Finding Dory do not appear unless the figure is placed on the pad at least once. If you are referring to literally ALL of them, maybe you're confusing 3.0 with 2.0 or 1.0
Those videos were tied to the Disney Infinity servers. When they went down, so did the character previews. It's why I made ALL the character preview videos for 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 prior to the cancellation for everyone to see/enjoy!

The games are up on steam - fully digital! I would say try it out. The servers are no longer up - but you can still create in the Toybox and play through all of the playsets (campaigns).

Pretty sad that they didn't make grievous a playable character. I think it's because of how hard he can be when it comes to animations and Moveset.

The Switch would've been the PERFECT planform for Disney Infinity. Would've absolutely crushed it.

The games are up on steam - fully digital! I would say try it out. The servers are no longer up - but you can still create in the Toybox and play through all of the playsets (campaigns).
