General question. My understanding is that the differing motors have differing characteristics regards engagement. Some appear to work better with spinner type riders. Which motors work best for a grinder style rider?

I just don't see why Fox/Raceface hasn't taken advantage of this opportunity and released RM PP compatible cranks in the 150-160mm range. I have an opportunity to upgrade to a new model and pedal strikes are holding me back from going with Rocky Mountain again.
Personal preference isn't it! Many top level pros size down for a race bike so they can chuck it around as quickly as possible! Manoeuvrability can be the name of the game in E-bike racing
25k cutoff... Lol thanks nanny states. My Bosch has the Volspeed chip in it set to 28 mph and is never flinched, with an MTB I hardly ride it that high but it just shows these regulations have nothing to do with the equipment it has to do with communism
Shimano is the worst motor of the bunch. It isn’t serviceable it’s just a throwaway part. It also lacks natural feel. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to ride that fucking motor.
They use Shimano heavily because there is an endless supply of rebuilt core returns...Rumor has it, R.S. is for "Returns Soon". I'd LOVE to see Bafang get involved in racing. A Frey Dopamine, with all the good bits and a worked 510...o my.
